Pros:

L’hôtel est propre et très bien placé. Il y a la climatisation. Le personnel est serviable et gentil.

Great comfy room in a fab property in a great location!
Pros:

Great room in a lovely property in walking distance from the main promenade. Team were lovely, breakfast was tasty & the bed was super comfy. We felt very safe & we’re just a few mins walk from Parque de los Novios and all the amazing graffiti streets & restaurants. Highly recommended.

Cons:

Nothing. While Santa Marta can feel a bit edgy when you first arrive, it really grew on me the time we were there. People are super friendly & the sunsets are some of the best we saw in Colombia!

Misleading listing and frustrating stay - not suitable for remote work as advertised.
Pros:

Decent location. Price is not particularly high.

Cons:

We booked Mucho Sur specifically for its advertised coworking setup and WiFi, but there was no working WiFi during our entire stay. On top of that, there is virtually no mobile reception inside the hotel, so working was impossible.

At check-in we were told the issue would be fixed the next day, but it wasn’t. When we followed up, staff showed little interest in resolving the problem — no apology, no solution, no compensation.

The rooftop area, which is heavily advertised, was a major disappointment. The pool was dirty and not properly maintained, with pigeon feathers and droppings around, and the bar was closed. The space felt neglected and unusable.

Our balcony also did not have the hammock shown in the pictures.

Breakfast was very basic, and the hotel itself was almost empty.

Overall, the experience did not match what is advertised, especially if you are relying on WiFi or the rooftop facilities.

Parfait sauf pour la saleté environnante mais l’hôtel n’est pas responsable
Pros:

Le service était super et je salue tout le travail magnifique et l’amabilité et la gentillesse de tous les employés.

Cons:

L’hôtel était très bien équipé (manque peut-être un petit frigo dans les chambres pour l’eau fraîche), service parfait. Emplacement près de la mer mais dommage pour le quartier très sale.

Pros:

Todo muy limpio. Habitación muy grande y luminosa. Baño limpio y luminoso. Había champú y acondicionador en la ducha pero no gel. Muy bien que tenga piscina en la azotea. El desayuno estaba rico y variado. Hay aire acondicionado y se agradece mucho.

Cons:

La zona no es muy buena, a pesar de que está bien ubicado en el centro de santa marta y cerca de la playa.

Mucho Sur Ok.
Pros:

Es un hotel muy limpio. Con muy buenos empleados. Muy cerca al centro historico y a la costanera.

Cons:

La calle 12 no se ve bien. Pero al ingresar al hotel, el cambio es total. Muy buenas instalaciones.
