This hotel is located in the busiest street of Malia but it isn’t noticeable at all from the hotel room. The building looks lovely and the rooms are small but convenient. There is a supermarket nearby and plenty of restaurants. It is also very close to the Malia 33 busstop from which you can travel to for example Hersonissos and Iraklion. With that is is also just a few streets away from the beautiful Malia old town, and only about 15 minutes away from the beach.
Our favourite thing to do at Malia Holidays hotel was go to the pool. There were many sunbeds and parasols for free use and there was a bar with lovely smoothies and lots of food choices. We want to compliment the lovely woman that worked at the pool bar every day for the whole week we were there. She worked 10-18 everyday in the heat and she deserves some appreciation for that. I very specifically want to tell every guests that stayed or will stay there that you can bring back your own food left overs and dishes to the bar and that it is no bother at all, instead of forcing the lovely woman at the bar to keep going into the heat of the sun to clean up your messes. Thank you in advance.
We very much enjoyed our stay here.
There were some loud guests which was not the hotels fault. The lovely owner even send some guests away because of improper behaviour. This was very much appreciated.
Really good location and general facilities
Rooms are a bit dated but I didn't find it a problem

אסור להכניס אוכל או שתיה לאזור הבריכה אלא רק לרכוש מהמזנון בבריכה, החדרים מיושנים, והנקיון גרוע לא שמו קפה ולא החליפו את כוסות השתיה בנקיון היומי השאירו הכל מלוכלך. בלילות היה רעש נוראי של טריקות דלתות ובעיטות על הדלתות התעוררנו מספר פעמים.
The pool was nice and the lady at the snack bar was very sweet and had lovely service.
Breakfast had limited options and was underwhelming. The receptionist who checked us in and who worked most days was rude, condescending and very unhelpful. The pool closed at 6pm! It's Summer holidays! The sun was up and we were asked to get out of the pool from 530. This was a huge contributor to the reduced rating along with the terrible service.

Déjeuner pas de qualité.. jus de fruit en poudre et peu de sucré ni de fruit
On doit forcément consommer au bar de la piscine, interdiction d'avoir un boisson personnelle.
Chambre a peine nettoyé durant le séjour et salle de bain très vétuste.
Great Location for All Malia has to Offer - Very Close to Old Town, Bus Stops and "The Strip" but without the Noise of the Strip. and only about 10/15 Min walk to the beach

staff could’ve been better
The friendliness, the warmth and the serenity. Though close to the town centre, it was relatively quiet. The ladies were very helpful with helping me locate my relatives, that was my main reason for visiting crete. By the end of the holiday, the ladies were like family. It had a pool table, chess, a swimming pool, ample gardens to relax and unwind. My reservation came with breakfast included.
There was nothing that I did not like, it is a family friendly hotel and much older than other hotels.
Great breakfast, the lady working there was a sweetheart, location good, but I imagine the parking situation would be hard in the summer.
All the staff were so helpful, especially when I was on my own. The breakfast was lovely, and the staff provided amazing support. The property was very clean and had excellent facilities and staff.
As I attended the Hotel off-season mid-Oct, both hotel Bars were closed; this was not a problem for me, but it could be a problem for others. The hotel did not also notify us of these closures prior to or at check-in.
Beds, very uncomfortable.
Clean tidy and great location.
Pool closed at approx 6 or 7pm! And it was a adult hotel and you couldn’t sit round the pool in the evenings
