Disappointed until room upgraded.
Pros:

5 minutes walk to the Temples site.
One bedroom-suite was a large comfortable room.

Cons:

The deluxe double room booked was not to my liking and they upgraded me to a one bedroom suite.

Could not be more perfect for visiting Abu Simbel
Pros:

It is the perfect location to visit the Abu Simbel Temples. It is a 10-minute walk to the temple gates which means you can be first in line when they open at 6am.

It is far more comfortable to stay here the night before rather than getting up and driving in a bus from Aswan.

The hotel can organise tickets to Son et Lumiere for the evening before. And if you want to do a boat trip on the lake at dusk.

The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The decoration is funny and a bit idiosyncratic.

The hotel organised a minibus to pick us up to and from Aswan, which was efficient and very comfortable.

Cons:

If you like very luxurious 5 star hotels then this is not for you.

Struttura perfetta per abu simbel
Pros:

Struttura molto carina, avevamo prenotato una stanza ma una volta arrivati vi hanno proposto l'uso di una stanza piu grande e molto bella. Personale accogliente (credo a conduzione famigliare), ci hanno fatto trovare i biglietti per lo spettacolo al tramonto ai templi senza pagare un prezzo aggiuntivo.

Riprenoterei la stessa struttura dovessi tornare, sia per la gentilezza, per la vicinanza ai templi e al centro tutto raggiungibile a piedi

Beautiful and colorful hotel. Hotel layout was superb. Lovely atmosphere.
Very friendly staff & fantastic attention provided by all. One of the best I have experienced.
Mohammed at reception and every single employee was so attentive and friendly!
Restaurant in premises. Good food. Roof top cafe also.
Great wifi.
Centrally located. 5 mins from "town" and 10 mins walking to temples.
Very spacious room. Air conditioner worked great.
Can book tours/rent bikes at hotel.
Egyptair airport shuttle will pick you up for free if going to the airport (just let reception know).

Cons:

Bad smell from the pipes in the bathroom (not sure if this is something the hotel is able to control).

Nice Hotel In Walking Distance From The Temples
Pros:

The location was excellent. In 10 minutes, you could walk to the Temples. The hotel had a restaurant and the food was good. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The grounds were well maintained.

The staff were genuinely friendly and super responsive throughout our stay — always happy to help and quick to answer any questions. We even got a surprise free upgrade to a one-bedroom suite.

The room itself was clean and comfortable — fresh beds and linens. Breakfast was decent too, nothing over the top, but solid enough to fuel you up for the day.

Honestly, for a one-night stopover in Abu Simbel, Tuya Hotel checks all the right boxes — great location, warm hospitality, and comfortable rooms.

Posizione perfetta per visitare i templi di Abu Simbel sia all’alba che per lo spettacolo di luci serale. Staff gentile ed accogliente, camere essenziali ma con tutto il necessario e pulite.

Cons:

Pros:

剛開始入住的房間沒有熱水，老闆將我升等成在庭院中的房間，空間更大。但浴室都有下水道的氣味，我想這是埃及基礎設施不好的濫觴，或許藉由更高頻率的通管可以改善。早餐不錯，我們可以看完神廟再回來吃，這樣的安排很適合！

我們還請飯店安排了早上日出的遊湖，一個小時的船程，用不同角度看阿布辛貝神廟，非常值得，強烈推薦。
