Nice old hotel, not too far to walk to the gate.

Cons:

Wall is thin, it’s not for light sleeper. I can hard people passing and one incident someone tried to open my door.
I would have expected a better quality what I paid for.

Pros:

Good location to walk to Chiang Mai gate and centre. Reasonably quiet location, and room was large. Pool was relaxing and had a bar next to it to order drinks for a reasonable price. They had recently done renovations with walls newly painted. Cleaned room every day. It used for big tour groups (lots of tour buses), but that actually keeps the hotel relatively quiet for our trip as people just slept there 1 or 2 nights and were out on tours all day. Felt the price we paid was reasonable for room size, pool and location.

Cons:

Balcony non-existent or worth paying for - half was the air con and barely wide enough for a chair on its own. Definitely don't pay extra for breakfast (ours included). We're vegan, only salad, rice and fruit, but a bit dried out as sitting out. Tea and coffee both stewed, and everything else looked tepid and uninviting - we rarely bother to eat anything. Agree with other comments that a regular feeling from the staff was that we were interrupting them (except clean staff - so Emily and welcoming!). Not unfriendly, but not the warm welcome I experienced at other hotels. Walls were thin, but not a problem for us.

Durchschnittliches Stadthotel. Gute Lage, um Chiang Mai zu erkunden. Foodmarket, Massagen, Wäscheservice,... Alles in der Nähe.
Schöner Pool.

Cons:

Liegen am Pool waren tw. so stark aufgeheizt, dass man kaum darauf liegen konnte. WLAN funktioniert am Pool nicht, obwohl nur wenige Meter von der Bar entfernt.
