The recently re-named hotel Acropolis Hill has been operating since 1984, under the name of Hotel Austria.

The hotel is not in typical touristy neighbourhood which we enjoyed. Walking distance to restaurants and the metro.
The location of the pool was disappointing.

Very nice hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. Located near the the Parthenon and Philopappos Hill. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of choices.
Since we were there in August the weather was very hot and our grandchildren enjoyed the pool.
Like others have said, it is quite a climb from where the restaurants are. I still give it a 5 because the positives definitely outweigh the negative of the climb up the hill and stairs.
Location is top: on walking distance to Acropolis (12 minutes), yet at the same time very calm area. Kind personnel. Excellent breakfast. Good beds.
Just to know: the swimming pool is very small, the water is really cold and the sun cannot reach it in the afternoon (situated on the ground floor in between some buildings). However, the children loved to play after the Acropolis visit!
Fabulous location with a beautiful roof top deck. Very accommodating staff. Quiet and safe neighbourhood.
It didn’t affect us but if you have large suitcases and plan on walking from the train station it is up hill with quite a few stairs.

Ausblick von der Dachterrasse auf die Akropolis ist sehr schön. Das Frühstücksbuffet machte einen guten Eindruck und war recht abwechslungsreich.
Es gab leider Ungeziefer im Zimmer - an zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen. Eine kaputte Nachttischlampe wurde auch nach einem Hinweis nicht repariert. Das Bad war nicht besonders sauber geputzt.
Good central location. Likes the garden top area.
We were in the basement room which was the only room in that area. The hallway smelled moldy which would make the room smell moldy.
Rooms where great, breakfast was very good and Staff amazing, we only stayed for 1 night but it was a great choice to stay here as the views from the rooms and roof top where amazing, i would recommend going here again to anyone.
nothing comes to mind really if i had to be picky it would be the lift, it was very small other than that no proplems with the hotel or staff and location wise it was fantastic
