Pros:

Stayed 1 night in Tiba hotel.
1. Overall Category
• The hotel appears to be in the 1–2 star category based on facilities and room condition.
• Very basic accommodation with minimal services.
2. Staff & Hospitality
• The receptionist was somewhat helpful.
• The manager, Ahmed, was friendly and polite in communication.
• One or two concierge and housekeeping staff members were responsive and courteous.
• Staff behaviour was generally decent, though service capacity seemed limited.
3. Facilities
• The hotel offers only basic rooms without additional facilities.
• No proper tea/coffee station.
• Only one kettle provided.
• A few tea bags and sugar sachets were placed in a cup — nothing more.
• No additional hospitality amenities.
4. Room Condition
• Rooms were very dusty.
• Curtains were old and heavily dusty.
• Furnishings were broken.
• The refrigerator was not working.
• Overall room condition was poor.
• The only functional appliance was the geyser (hot water heater).

Main Cons – Very Important for non-Muslim Travelers in Ramadan.
1. No Breakfast During Ramadan
• Booking.com mentioned breakfast was available for an additional charge (18 AED equivalent).
• However, the hotel staff stated that during Ramadan, their kitchen is closed.
• They said they are “not responsible for what Booking.com mentions.”
• This was not clearly communicated at the time of booking.
2. No Food Facilities During Morning Hours
• Because of Ramadan, there were no food services in the hotel in the morning.
• This caused significant difficulty in arranging food for my wife and baby.
• Nearby restaurants were also closed until around 1:00 PM.
• Very limited food options were available in the area during the daytime.
3. Lack of Guest Consideration
• When asked why bookings were being accepted without providing full services (like breakfast), there was no clear answer.
• The response was simply: “It’s Ramadan.”

Room & Facility Issues
• Rooms were very dusty.
• Curtains were old and dusty.

• Close to the railway station.
• However, during Ramadan, all food outlets were also closed in the mornings. The city runs on tourist money, but the city just don't give a damn.
• Grossly limited food variety available during the daytime.

💰 Value for Money
• The room price was high considering the condition and lack of facilities.
• Infrastructure does not match the price.

👨‍👩‍👧 Suitability
• Not ideal for families.
• Not recommended for travellers during Ramadan unless you are fully prepared for limited food access or unless you forcefully fast during Ramadan.
. The city runs on tourist money, there is nothing else apart from tourist destinations near by to see. All that is worth seeing in the city of Aswan is older than 1300 years.
Beware of the local taxi. They cheat a lot. If you question them ,they say it's Ramadan :),
