Vi afbrød vores ophold på Queen Hotel - it’s a wake-up call
Pros:

Maden var god og velsmagende. Dog var brød, croissant mv kedelige. Selve området var smukt og indbydende. Dejlige swimmingpools og gode liggestole. En del af personalet var imødekommende og smilende - særligt dem i baren.
Rigtig gode Moktails.
Dejligt med strandhåndklæder.

Cons:

Vi brød os bestemt ikke om, at rygning var tilladt næsten alle steder. Dette er ikke i overensstemmelse med den viden, man nu har om passiv rygning og rygning.
Terrassen med kig over vandet, der lå foran restauranten, var altid beskidt. Vi skulle bede personalet om at tørre bordene af. Hynderne i sofaerne og stolene var beskidte.
Den høje musik fra morgen til sen aften var ikke hyggelig. Man blev simpelthen træt i hovedet.
Liggestolene på stranden er ikke gode. Man er tvunget til at ligge på ryggen, og man kan ikke sidde op og læse en bog. Stolene mangler indstillingsmuligheder.
Restauranten gav ikke muligheder for en stille og dejlig middag. Vi følte os hensat til en spisesal på en skole. Her burde man lave opdelinger, så man fik hyggelige og intime områder i restauranten.

The perfect place for a calm, luxurious getaway.
Pros:

The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and will help you with anything you might want, the hotel and the rooms are beautifully done and very clean, the food is great and they offer a variety of activities like swimming with the dolphins. I can truly recommend this hotel.

Cons:

The only downside might be, that it‘s a bit far away from the next town, so you will spend the most time at the hotel, but if you want they offer free bikes to cruise around.

Nous avons adoré cet établissement avec son jardin luxuriant, les piscines magnifiques, la propreté des lieux, mais ce qui nous a marqué le plus était la disponibilité et l’amabilité de l’ensemble du personnel!

Pros:

Everything! The facilities are very beautiful, clean and maintained with care. Food is very delicious and there is always variety of different cuisines and options. Cocktails were professionally made, with good quality ingredients, tasty. Staff is super friendly in a nice, pleasant way. Room was clean, beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed. Beach in front of the hotel is well maintained, not crowded and very calm. There are several beds from the hotel on the beach where you can rest and enjoy the day. We stayed for a week and loved every moment.

Everything was perfect. All the staff were very helpful. They cleaned the room every day and arranged the bed very nicely. On Saturday evening, they also had very nice live music. If I return to Zanzibar, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

I haven´t stopped raving about this Hotel, the beach, and the staff.
Pros:

It was an amazing experience. I´m looking forward to being back. The staff from General Manager and Front of House Manager to Restaurant staff was charming and efficient. The beach is amazing. I took a half day snorkel and dolphin watching trip which was superb. Breakfast and dinner were great. Rooms very comfortable and extremely clean. A very generous late check out policy. The GM is always present and approachable. A real find. On my last day I needed extra sun protection. One of the staff members got me some free of charge. It was greatly appreaciated. The location of the hotel is fantastic and the transfer from the airport to the hotel traversing the island was mesmerizing.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn´t like. Everything was fantastic.
