Paradiso Ocean front Bungalows

The family bungalow was not the one pictured in the listing online when we rented them so be aware of that !!
The single ones look great.

But the family bungalows are located further down the beach right next to a restaurant so at night it’s really loud from the juice blender next to the beds and dogs fight all night under the bungalow and are on the balcony barking

On the other side of the 2 family bungalows was a resort which put jet skies and blow up toys just in front of our view Wich was so sad cause it’s a beautiful village and beach

I would not go back to the family bungalows but I would do the 2 persons

Nous étions prévenus mais c’est un peu bruyant la nuit, mais cela fait partie du charme d’être dans ce village et ainsi d’avoir une vue imprenable sur la mer.

Do not know where to start. As I have said the property was good. That's where a star comes from. The rest of it was utterly appalling and disgusting. The photographs of the property, cleverly disguise the location. It does not back on to trees,but a village road, and a shanty town , cambodian style. We were told there might be a little noise on the evening, but all we heard was the waves, untill, around 1.00 am ,all hell broke loose outside. DOGS, fighting each other,and non stop barking,which went on and off through the night,it was horrendous,we had no sleep. !!! Sok san village by day, wasn't much better,it was a dirty little village at the end of a road, more like a mini industrial estate that was falling to bits. The wild dogs on the night,turn into docile creatures that wonder around , and onto the beach and do their business on it!!. And beach, parts of which you you have to navigate with great care, because of the rubbish, it is disgusting,and sad,to see so much pollution. We had to cut short our stay. Could not stand the noise anymore. There are some favourable comments,but the reason in can think is ,they must be partially blind, and live in a rubbish dump. If your kind of holiday,is to go somewhere,with dog Pooh on the beach,dogs Barking all night,and problematic pollution problem,sok San is the place for you.

Quite loud (the rooms are completely open to the outside, and are right on the main road of the village)

Little village full of garbage. Beach a nightmare

Un peu dur de trouver la réception qui est sur le ponton!

Qui dit cabane sur pilotis au bord de l'eau dit bruit des vagues. Cependant celui ci etait peu derangeant en comparaison avec le concert d'aboiements de quelques chiens durant toute la nuit. La premiere nuit on se dit que c'est une exception, mais apres 3 nuits ( et avoir tenté de chasser le chien soi meme) cela etait difficilement supportable. Et les bouchons d'oreille gentillement proposés par note hote n'y changeront rien.
Les hamacs au bord de l'eau semble etre des filets de peche recyclés, peu confortables et troués, alors qu'il auraient pu etre un plus majeur au logement.
Pas de Wifi, sur une ile ou le reseau 4g est tres capricieux, c'est tout de meme dommage au prix du logement.
Prix qu'il faut tout de meme mettre en avant, exorbitant pour une simple cabane en bois mal isolée

The hammock from our chalet is torn.
