Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig. Ein kleines Hotel im Paradies. Toller Strand, sehr schöne Zimmer. Ein perfektes Plätzchen zum Entspannen.

Kalimera Beach Hotel is probably on the best stretch of beach in the Maya Beach area of Placencia. The small hotel is really relaxing and friendly and staff go out of their way to help. Breakfasts are amazing!

This is such a charming boutique hotel! It’s exceptionally clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Another great perk was the complimentary breakfast. It was delicious, offered a great selection, and made our mornings so much easier, especially when traveling with kids.

One of the highlights of our stay was the bartender. He was fantastic! We stayed for five days, and by the end it felt like we had made a new friend. We looked forward to seeing him every day. He even learned what our kids liked and always had their favorite things ready for them, which made our stay feel extra special and personal.

We had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Kalimera Beach Hotel was truly unforgettable and not just because of how beautiful it is. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how clean, stylish, and well-appointed the hotel is. The location is ideal, the beach is gorgeous, and the breakfast and lunch were honestly some of the best meals we had during our entire trip to Belize.

What really set Kalimera apart was the exceptional care shown by the staff and Owner. On our final day, after checking out and driving nearly an hour toward the airport, we realized we had left our passports in our room. To make matters worse, we were involved in a car accident while turning back to the hotel, leaving us stranded at a police station with no realistic way to retrieve our passports and still make our flight.

We called the hotel, not knowing what to expect but without hesitation, the Owner personally drove an hour to bring our passports directly to us at the police station. Because of that extraordinary act of kindness, we made our flight home. That level of genuine care goes so far beyond what any hotel is expected to do. Kalimera Beach Hotel has earned our highest recommendation and our loyalty for any future trip to Belize.

The breakfast was exactly as described. Good food, well presented. The staff were exceptionally helpful and tried to find alternative accomodation after everyone agreed the foul smell from the seaweed, an unusual phenomenon there, proved overwhelming. In the end we decided to stay at the Kalimera. The rooms are extremely well appointed and designed. I can only re-iterate, the staff are exceptional and very helpful, the accomodation superb - clean, well designed rooms. I'd easily stay there again.

Très bel hôtel. Chambre très spacieuse et superbement aménagée et décorée. Tout est fait avec beaucoup de gout. Le personnel est très attentionné. La plage est propre. Lors de notre passage, il n'y avait pas trop de sargasse et le personnel les enlevait régulièrement. Pas de quoi gêner pour la baignade en mer.
Un peu loin de Plancencia pour ceux qui voudrait y aller (20 minutes en taxi). Mais pas gênant car il y a pas mal de restaurant à proximité à pied.

I loved the boutique feel of property. Staff was very friendly and the place was clean. Breakfast was delicious. If you have a golf cart, you can get anywhere in 10-15 min

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The buildings and everything was really pretty and clean. And the food was a nice variety and very good.

The beach ares has hammocks and chairs. z the bartender makes alcohol free and alcoholic drinks very well.

This is a little bit of paradise. You can tell there was a lot of thought that went into this charming hotel. It's small but doesn't feel small. We were in the king room on the beach and the views were magnificent. When we were not out and about, or on the beach, we were on our porch, reading, sipping drinks or eating breakfast. The staff was amazing. Elvis, the bartender, learned our names on day one and was so attentive and friendly. He would deliver drinks to our porch. The cooking staff also delivered our breakfasts to our porch and the breakfasts were delicious. The location was great and we could walk to about 5 different restaurants. The people at the front desk arranged our transportation and our excursions. We are already planning our return trip.
