The location and its surroundings was more than words can describe!
Pros:

The front desk attendant always had our best interest! He helped us find a private taxi to take us around, and was also the lodge's honorary chef! Each morning he made our breakfast, which was fulfilling for our big days ahead!

Cons:

The water system was a great in the beginning but towards the end, we just had no more water coming out of the drains, we couldn't even flush :/

Il manquait des serviettes de toilettes, chambres extrêmement bruyantes dues à la proximité de la rivière, eau chaude au bout d’une longue attente, petit déjeuner TRÈS sommaire avec un seul petit pain par personne (nous en avons demandé d’autres, il n’y en avait pas), personnel très peu avenant.

Cons:

Achei a recepção ruim, chuveiro não esquentava rápido…a água tinha que cair bastante para ficar quente, na reserva informava que teríamos direito a café da manhã incluso mas era mentira, e precisamos sair cedo para fazer o check out e não havia ninguém..sequer nos perguntaram algo no check in sobre..acabamos deixando a chave na recepção e saindo pois tínhamos horário para chegar em águas calientes

Quarto confortável e muito relaxante com uma bela vista e barulho do Rio perfeito para uma boa noite de sono. Tivemos que sair antes do horário do café para ir a Machu picchu e nos deram ainda assim alimentação, além de fornecer transfer para a estação de trem.

Cons:

- O banheiro poderia ser um pouco melhor, e a localização para quem está com muitas malas não é recomendada, visto que fica a 15 minutos a pé da estação de trem.

Cons:

Pas d’eau chaude malgré le changement de la bouteille de gaz. Odeur d’égout le matin.
L’établissement propose de nous récupérer à la gare, ils sont venus après 40’ d’attente en moto alors que nous étions 5 et nous ont demandé 10 soles par moto alors que rien n’avait été convenu. Ensuite, ils ont voulu nous faire payer 5% de commission avec la carte bancaire, ce que nous avons refusé. Il faut apprécier le bruit de la rivière qui passe juste à côté

We really enjoyed Sara Garden, from check-in to check-out. The staff is very attentive, offering recommendations for the city, making it easy to book tours, and helping with questions about the city. The space is very comfortable, family-friendly, and peaceful. The sound of the river next door is calming, and the breakfast is worth the price of the room. There's the option to leave your luggage for a quick trip to Machu Picchu. I would definitely return and recommend it to everyone!
