Pros:

Location of hotel, and facility.

Cons:

The hotel displayed parking as available on Booking.com; however, when we arrived, we had to park elsewhere, about a 5-minute walk away, and pay an additional cost. This was false advertisement on the website. Also, there was no tap available for drinking water, so we had to boil water from the bathroom sink, which was very inconvenient.

Comfortable spacious room with a good view over the city and harbour. Quite decent meals at the restaurant.
Pros:

Excellent location and close to bus to airport.

Cons:

Some staff seemed confused about managing discounts at the restaurant.

Comfortable,clean and quiet

Cons:

We booked well in advance and requested rooms as close to each other as possible due to daughter. We're put on different floors. They moved us,but it would have been nice to have had our request dealt with before having to move etc.

We didn't stay

Cons:

I was charged $202 as a cancellation fee as I had cancelled just after the cancellation time. I sent an email to the hotel but received no response.
The hotel was sold out so clearly the room was booked but they still charged me a few days later which felt a little unethical.

Nice hotel near Skycity and a very good breakfast
Pros:

The hotel is close to Skycity, 5 minutes walk, close to airport shuttle bus station, 15 minutes walk from Auckland port and near there are many bus stops. The room was nice and clean, breakfast very good, a lot of options from omlets, pastry, vegetables. Staff helpful and kind, available for guests. We enjoy our stay at Grand Chancellor Auckland
