Amazing stay for our family.
Pros:

I stayed with my family including two young children. Accommodation exceeded my expectations. Comfortable rooms, fully refurbished with attention to detail. Breakfast and evening buffet had plenty of options and staff always ensured they asked for kids' preference in advance. Shuttle bus to St Anton very convenient and we didn't have to use the car. We also used swimming pool in Pettneu (hotel gave us access there) which is worth going, only 15 minutes walk. Staff very kind and helpful.

Lovely friendly family who run a great family friendly and traditional hotel
Pros:

Excellent family run hotel with great service and friendliness. Beautiful and quaint, basically everything you could ask for. Food was good and we had dinner and breakfast there. Breakfast was included in the reasonable price. It was the most reasonable out of all the hotels in the village. Lots of easy parking. Stunning views.

Cons:

Bed was a bit squishy for my liking and I never like the Austrian pillows! But I'm sure if I'd asked they would have offered me a different one. It was fine. Other than that, there was a lovely bar inside, but if they had better outdoor bar seating, it would be perfect!

Very friendly, helpful and professional family team run the hotel.
Classic Austrian alpine decor and cleanliness.
More than tolerant of our two young energetic kids threatening to destroy the peace!
Ski bus runs like clockwork every 15min to the two main lifts in St Anton and stops a stones throw from the hotel. We also used the same bus to travel for free from the train (terminal West) station to the hotel.
Nice spa facilities.
Good breakfast and afternoon tea.
Dinner is reasonably priced and flexible if doing half board.

Pros:

Is a nice and cozy hotel with friendly staff and an excellent kitchen: every evening I've enjoyed an gourmet experience, austrian style, steered by the hotel owner himself ! For skiers, the skibus station is just around the corner. Wellness area is enough for 7-8 people. Housekeeping was done daily impecable.

A perfect hotel if all you want is quiet ski vacation in St. Anton area without paying too much
Pros:

The hotel is much more than 3-stars. The facilities are great (sauna, ski room etc.) The staff is extra-helpfull - takes care of every need you might think about (pick you up from train station, take care of a taxi if you need, provide all needed information and recommendations etc.)

Cons:

The hotel location is not for everyone. It's OK if you just ski and then stay in hotel. But, Pettenu is very quiet (a.k.a. almost dead at night) so if you want to go out at evening - it's all about St. Anton. Unfortunately, evening time buses (after 17:00) run only once per hour... A bit problematic if you stay in St. Anton late (for example, go to sport center) but still want to attend dinner at hotel.
