The bed was comfortable, the room very clean and the decor and bedroom furniture exceptional.
The view of the lake and surrounding area from the bedroom and balcony was breathtaking!
I was surprised but pleased to also have a fully functional kitchen although I only used the kettle!
There was a good choice of items for breakfast which was very good.
The staff (Ruvina and Mahinda) were also very friendly, helpful and definitely helped make my stay memorable.
I will definitely stay at the hotel again!

My recent stay at the Baron Luxury Boutique in Nuwara Eliya was nothing short of excellent and a true highlight of my visit to Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the hotel's charm and its stunning location.
The boutique itself is wonderful, offering a peaceful and comfortable retreat. The rooms are well-appointed, and the views, particularly of Gregory Lake, are simply breathtaking . The hotel's serene environment makes it a perfect place to unwind and take in the beautiful mountain scenery.
However, what truly set this stay apart was the incredible hospitality, especially from a young staff member named Ruvini. Her warmth and attentiveness were exceptional. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering assistance with a genuine smile and making us feel like honored guests in her own home. It's this kind of personalized and heartfelt service that transforms a great stay into an unforgettable one.
This level of dedicated service is clearly a hallmark of the hotel, as other guests have consistently praised the friendly and attentive nature of the staff . The owners are also very involved in ensuring guests are well taken care of .

Jó volna minden szobába állandó fűtési lehetőség, 10 fok volt a kinti levegő hőmérséklete az éjjel!
Ein sehr netter junger Mann hat sich super um uns gekümmert. Unsere Wäsche wurde umsonst gewaschen und er war äußerst aufmerksam! Die Betten waren sehr bequem!

L'hôtel est propre et a une vue imprenable sur le lac ! Nous avons eu mauvais temps avec du brouillard + pluie donc nous n'en avons pas profité pleinement mais avec du beau temps, cela doit être magnifique.
Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel et il a fait mauvais temps : température assez basse, pluie donc humidité. L'hôtel est plutôt mal isolé et il faisait EXTREMEMENT froid et humide dans la chambre. Nous avons demandé s'il y avait un chauffage mais l'hôtel n'en est pas équipé. Nous avons donc demandé une seconde couette pour le lit et ils nous ont fourni un tout petit soufflant électrique. Mais nous ne pouvions pas le laisser allumé la nuit, donc nous avons un peu réchauffé la pièce puis l'avons éteint. Pour le prix de la nuit et au vue de la météo habituelle à NuwaraEliya, à savoir très souvent pluvieuse, froide et humide, il est regrettable que l'hôtel ne soit pas équipé de chauffage.. Nous avons eu froid et tout était humide, donc pas agréable...
Le petit déjeuner est correct mais pas fantastique.
The staff is extremely warm and accommodating. Wifi was working well. Has great views of the Gregory lake and the surroundings. Breakfast is simple and served well.
The family room was a bit smaller than anticipated, which can get a bit difficult to move around with luggage etc. The entrance to the hotel is uphill so, sometimes the drop might be a bit difficult on the back side.
Cozy room and amazing views!
Amazing view of the lake from our balcony. The staff were so attentive and friendly. Lovely, fresh breakfast and a modern room with great shower. About a half hour walk along the lake into the town and you can walk round a tea plantation at the back of the hotel.

Kellemetlen, erős illat volt a szobában, hiába szellőztettünk. A személyzet alig beszélt angolul, bármit kértünk, nagyon nehezen értették meg. Megkérdezték mit kérünk reggelire, beikszeltük egy papíron, de nem azt kaptuk és nem is akkor, amikor kértük.

It was clean and well maintained. Nice boutique hotel. Service was excellent. Lankan breakfast was excellent.
Western breakfast was average but Lankan breakfast was great. Location was difficult to access with our van. Bathroom got absolutely soaked. Glass shower screens would be beneficial
