Firstly, they moved us to a different location as the property that I initially booked supposedly had ‘plumbing issues’ which they didn’t refund us for or discount us.
Everything. It was dirty, my friend had left his AirPods behind & they didn’t even return them or get back to me about it. Someone I’m guessing one of the workers stole them as my friend can see on his Find my IPhone that his AirPods are in a different place & keep moving around.
Absolutely nothing
This property was infested with roaches , sheets were filthy so were the towels I had to wash them she sent cleaners to bomb the place they never did they said the most they could do it kill them cleaners didn’t speak English but im bilingual and the property owner was unprofessional!
I like the size and the location.
Not enough towels and washcloths.
Both rooms were equal size which made it easy to split cost with friends or family. Pullout couch available as well.
Parking wasnt very convenient if you returned at a later hour to the apartment, both nights the designated and all remaining parking was taken by other people staying at the building.

There was a rat in one of the rooms and there were complications with the staff about early check-in.

The internet wasn’t working. I addressed it multiple times. Someone came over to fix it but all she did was put it in another outlet. I needed it for work. So now I had to leave the apartment every day to work. I also had to use my own data which cost me a lot.
I kept on sending mails but nothing happened. After complaining and even sending videos where you can see that internet wasn’t working on my device, they still kept telling me that I basically ws lying. Eventually they wanted to send someone to the apartment the day before I would leave. After me complaining for several days.
Of course today when I’m already checked out they’re saying that someone came by, tested the WiFi and there were no problems. Again; even after me sending videos of it.
I’ve asked multiple times how I can file a complaint and ask for a refund. They keep avoiding this simple question. This is not a way to do business. They have a lot of rules and fines for everything: breaking the couch, losing the remote etc. But when something’s wrong on their end, they’ll try everything to avoid being responsible. Even when provided with proof.
So my question again: how can I file a complaint and ask for a refund.
Also I found socks under the couch that weren’t mine.. the area is next to the highway and planes fly very low. So there’s a lot of noise. Be aware when you book this place.
It was clean and comfortable and the area was quiet and convenient to where I needed to be.
I can’t say anything i didn’t like.
At least the agency running the apartment was responsive
I never wrote bad reviews before, but this apartment really pissed me off. Sadly, hurricane Milton came in after we booked our trip, with hurricane warning in all Florida.
1. Our flight was cancelled due to the hurricane, so we asked for cancellation of booking. The host was Inflexible and inconsiderate of this extreme weather conditions. They sent template no answer when asking for cancellation referring to extreme weather conditions. All the other hosts in our Florida trip supported us and even changed their non-cancellation policy in this weather condition
2. Property description says 200 USD deposit is required, but they charged 300 USD without any inventory check or reviewing the condition of the apartment.
3. Photos and description of the apartment are misleading nowhere near to reality. Instagram vs. reality prime example
- it's right next to a busy highway, so nobody wants to use the terrace
- balcony is useless facing straight to parking cars and industrial area
- in the bedrooms you`ll only find a bed with sheets 2 small pillows and the cheapest table. No reading lights, decoration, nothing from the photos.
- Shower gel looked like it was sitting there for years
Photos suggest an elegantly refurbished new home, in reality you`ll find a worn down table, stains on wall, chipped painting, It's a clear minimal effort from the host and even that is done in a rubbish quality. Sadly I cannot upload any photos to see the poor quality and the disappointing difference from hosts photos vs. reality.
4. Description says toilet paper is provided. Yes, half a roll for 3 nights for 4 people. When asked for a refill, they kindly replied we have to provide further rolls. Absolutely cheeky
