Pavlis Studios Kampos

There are two 'Pavlis studios' in Marathokampou. One is at Ormos, just above an attractive harbour and shown in this photograph from Trip Advisor. I did not stay there! I stayed at the better located Pavlis Studios 4 miles down the road in Kampos. Better because it across the road from the beach - and at the same level. Better because there are restaurants, supermarkets, a bakery and gift tourist shops within easy walking distance (like 3 minutes). The apartments were well maintained, clean and quite modern. Mine had a shower, toilet and wash basin in the bathroom, a double bed and a tiny kitchenette with a hob (never used) and a fridge. The room was serviced every other day. Outside was a balcony with a table and chairs. Inside a wardrobe for hanging clothes, a desk with a chair and other useful shelves for storing things. Perfectly large enough - with good air conditioning and insect repellent protection on the windows and patio doors. The crockery and cutlery looked like cast offs bought in a jumble sale and there was no wine glass - but an assortment of other glasses - non matching. This is a point to be improved - it just let the place down a bit. A kettle was provided - but no toaster. There was wi-fi but it was poor and slow - my apartment was Number 8. The gardens surrounding the apartments were lovely - full of colour - and the swimming pool with a bar (closed at 6pm) and sun loungers was gorgeous. Car parking at the front was free. I stayed 7 nights and only paid 372 euros in September. The location was perfect - you could be on the beach in two minutes. The welcome was friendly and I was even given a complimentary glass of wine! I liked the place - but do make sure you book the right Pavlis studios. You want Pavlis Stuidos, Kampos - although I am sure Pavlis Studios, Ormos is also good.

Konumu çok iyi. Hemen önünde plaj var. Etrafında cafeler, tavernalar, marketler var. Odamız büyüktü. Balkonumuz çok keyifliydi.

Molto bello e silenzioso, la stanza era spaziosa e con un bel balcone. Cucina attrezzata e facilmente usabile, piscina non affollata. Vicino a ristoranti ( molto buono quello proprio di fronte alla struttura) e negozi, fronte spiaggia. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile

Everything was so perfect that we can't wait to come back. Filio and Dino made us feel right at home. The pool was huge and always clean. The apartment was just as clean. Filio responded to our messages immediately whenever we wrote and was always there. With their coffee, cocktails, and wonderful company, we lost track of time. We normally plan to explore new places, but we'll try to make another stop just to see Filio and Dino again! I hope they visit us too. Thank you so much for everything; my husband and I are so grateful.
