Nettes Country Hotel außerhalb von Höfn (wenige Minuten), gutes Frühstück, große Zimmer/ Cottages, Badezimmer sauber.

Pros:

Camere familiari ampie e pulite. Ottima posizione e ottima colazione con prodotti locali.

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad. Im Zimmer war ein Waschbecken, die Dusche direkt nebenan und in Ordnung. Sehr leckeres, vielfältiges Frühstück mit noch warmem Brot. Sehr freundliche Servicekraft beim Frühstück.

Cons:

Zimmer im Dachgeschoss sehr klein. Booking.com gibt bei den Ausstattungen des Hotels "Restaurant" an. Man muss aber wissen, dass Einzelreisende hier nicht essen können. Nur angemeldete Gruppen bekommen im Arnanes Abendessen. Das war für uns sehr enttäuschend. Wir hatten uns nach einem langen, regenreichen Tag auf ein gutes Abendessen direkt in der Unterkunft gefreut und wurden auf Restaurants in dem etwa 7 km entfernten Höfn verwiesen.

Overall, it was clean, and the staff were friendly.

Cons:

The hotel is really expensive, even by Icelandic standards. If I had paid a hostel price, I wouldn’t have had a problem with it. The value for money is very poor.

Ruhiger, gemütlicher Aufenthalt in schöner Umgebung
Pros:

Schöne geräumige Zimmer, das Frühstück war reichhaltig und die Lage des Hotels war super. Schnelle Erreichbarkeit des Ortes, direkt an der Strasse gelegen aber trotzdem sehr ruhig. Schöne Aussenterrasse bei schönem Wetter zum draussen sitzen.

POSIZIONE BELLISSIMA, CONFORT MEDIO
Pros:

Posizione spettacolare con vista sul ghiacciaio. A pochi chilometri da Hofn.

Cons:

Si definisce "country hotel", ci si aspetta un posto con un po' di charme ma si tratta in realtà di una struttura tipo agriturismo con bungalow ed aree comuni piuttosto spartani. Nella descrizione dell'hotel è indicata la presenza di un ristorante di cui però (almeno a giugno) non vi è traccia. Per fortuna che Hofn ha molti ottimi locali. Buona la colazione. MOLTO caro per quello che offre, 30% in più di un hotel 4 stelle a Selfoss, che pure è nel Circolo d'Oro.

Excellent stay would definetly go back.
Pros:

Beautiful setting. I stayed in both a room and in a cabin and both are a great option. Great restaurant on site (it was only op en one of the days but great comms from the property to let me know). We had lamb shank one day it was phenomenal. There is another restaurant in the hotel next door in case.

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es liegt direkt in der Nähe von einem Gletscher. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Haupthaus mit Gletscherblick. Im Zimmer gibt es auch einen Wasserkocher um sich Tee oder Kafee zu machen.
Das Frühstück war lecker und es gab genügend Auswahl.

Cons:

Leider sind hier viele kleine Mücken die uns leider zerstochen haben (es gab ein Hinweisschild im Zimmer). Die Betreiber haben auf Nachfrage aber auch nochmal etwas im Zimmer gesprüht so das die Mücken am nächsten Tag weniger da waren.
Das war sehr freundlich :) und es wurden uns Salben für die Stiche gegeben.
