Gezellig, parkeren voor je kamer.
Pros:

De gezellige kamer, parkeren voor je eigen deur.

Cons:

De hoek waar het ontbijt staat is vrij compact om met meerdere mensen tegelijk je ontbijt te nemen.
Het kon misschien sneller aangevuld worden, het beste brood werd op een zeker moment niet meer aangevuld en lang wachten op nieuwe thermos koffie. Maar toch tevreden over ons verblijf.

We had 3 rooms, 2 with bathrooms, 1 with the shared bathroom and shower across the hall. Rooms were clean and big enough for two people. Staff were very nice, very enjoyed the breakfast.

goed gelegen maar Hofn is niet zoveel te beleven, 1 nacht was voldoende!
Pros:

Ontbijt was het beste ontbijt die we kregen in Ijsland, SUPER, gedeelde badkamer is niet ons ding, locatie was goed maar 1 nacht was voldoende geweest, er waren mooie huisjes maar neen mensen van 70 steek je niet op een zolderkamer, trappen zijn er teveel aan vooral met een persoon die Parkinson heeft.....

Located just a short drive from the town center. It is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, especially after a long day of driving. The quiet surroundings make it an excellent choice for a short stopover or an overnight stay during a road trip.

Cons:

The room was comfortable, and the hotel is in a peaceful location. However, there were a few drawbacks. During our stay, the grass was being mowed around 7:00 PM, which disturbed the quiet atmosphere we were hoping for after a long day of travel. The cabin is made of wood, so the floors creak with every step, and because the units are connected, it is easy to hear noise from neighboring room as well. We also noticed a persistent dripping or tapping sound coming from the wall, which may be bothersome for light sleepers.

Beautiful log cabins and views
Pros:

A really beautiful location nearby but just outside Hofn. Technically you would not need to detour into Hofn if this was just a stop on a ring road trip, as it is right off the main road (but we did decide to go into the town which was nice). I was a bit skeptical that the photos would be accurate because they are so beautiful but it really did match the photos. Nice comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the fields with mountains in the distance. Comfortable clean room and bed. Sink and outlets right in the room with shared WC (but a good guest to WC ratio- I never felt like I needed to wait for it). Nice rustic log cabin vibe. Good breakfast which included cold cuts/sandwiches, yoghurt/skyr, pastries, good coffee. I would definitely go back again.

Cons:

Very low ceiling in parts, could be a problem for someone tall.

Freundlichkeit des Personals, Frühstück, Ausblick aus dem Zimmer. Lage ist (sehr) gut, wenn man ein Auto hat.

Cons:

Badezimmer könnte man ein wenig erneuern, der Rest des Zimmers gefällt.
