Trés belle chambre spacieuse, hôtel idéal pour une courte halte
Pros:

Une très belle chambre spacieuse et confortable, propreté impeccable. Le restaurant propose des plats succulents. Personnel sympathique et attentif. Parking disponible

Cons:

Hôtel un peu éloigné du centre, peu d’isolation phonique entre la porte et le couloir de l’étage

Cons:

Breakfast starts at 7:00, but not everything was available. It was 7:30, and I had to leave without eating what I liked.
The room door wouldn't close, and the employee Mark ignored it. Thanks to Olivia, it was resolved; they changed rooms thanks to her. Mark treated us like we were idiots who didn't know how to close doors.
At the pool, they charged us €3.50 for swim caps, even though it said they were €2, and nobody had them.
We would have preferred two large beds for four people.

Great stay!
Pros:

Easy parking & check in. We really appreciated the noon check out time. Very comfortable room & bed. Wish breakfast was served until 11:00.

Athlone Springs is a lovely comfortable hotel, well trained staff and lovely food.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent with lots of delightful choices.
Service was very good, staff were lovely in the restaurant.

Cons:

I didn’t like that smokers were right outside the front door, especially when the smoke could be smelled in the room as it was right above that area.

I'll be back.................
Pros:

The room was nicely presented, clean and comfortable. Delighted to see that the room now has wood flooring which I find more fresh and hygienic. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices, staff were very efficient and attentive in the dining room. Bar staff were also very pleasant and helpful.
Reception girl"s greeting on the morning of checkout was less than friendly with a "yes" when I went to desk and 'thanks' when I said what room I was checking out from. Apart of that this hotel is very pleasant.
