It was a very unique experience. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. The food was fresh, plentiful and very good. We were very comfortable there. I recommit walk around the island and see the hieroglyphics on the rocks there, take the Nile river cruise and go to Abu Simbel.
There’s basically nothing else on the island.
El personal fue muy amable. Estuvieron siempre atentos a atender nuestras solicitudes. Puntuales, buen precio, calidez y amabilidad.
L' ospitalità e la cordialità di tutto lo staff
Amazing!! Everything was amazing! They upgraded us for free in a better room with nile view, they were so kind and nice. The rooms were clean, the breakfast delicious and generous, they even prepared lunchboxes for us one day when we had to wake up early for our trip. The hotel is located in a nice quiet island so it was very relaxing away from the city but its easy to reach the city by ferry. Totally recommend it and we will definitely visit again!
We hadden 3 kamers.
The management were so good to us arranging pick up from airport and delivery to cruise
Nothing
Beautiful hotel with extremely friendly staff.
Breakfast and dinner at the hotel tasted good. The dinner price is reasonably 350 Egyptian pounds per person. The river view room can see the sunrise .The room was clean. Arrival by car can be stopped at the terminal. To the old market is about 20 minutes by car. You need to reach the pier with what's app to connect hotel. The boss and employees are friendly.
The downsides are poor sound insulation and a narrow road to the pier.
The support offered by the hotel manager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Upon arrival in the evening at the hotel, finding out about our desire to visit the Abu Simber temple, he arranged in a few minutes for us to sign up for this trip and used his own car to transport us at the departure point and back to the hotel.
On the departure day because our plane was scheduled to take off in the evening he offered us the opportunity to stay in the room that afternoon at no extra cost.
The hotel is on a small island not quite interesting from a tourist point of view and is quite difficult to go in the Aswan centre from there.
Personally, I felt it was decent but too expensive and not 4 stars. When comparing hotels I thought let’s go for the quieter, bit more local Nubian place. They charged almost a hundred dollars a night but they also have 4 stars. Mistake.
Positive: The airport transfer was good, although there was a random man traveling with me in the same car. I was without delay picked up by boat across the water, and they kindly carried my bag. The owner speaks English and called my tour company to arrange pickup across the river the next day at 4AM (abu simbel). The room was clean and the ceiling fan worked. They have solid wifi. I had a nice view of the water.
Negative: I was the only guest at the hotel, yet they still put me in the room with what I can only describe as the junkyard remains of a former A/C (photo). The water was out for the first 2 hours I arrived, but was fixed. No small bottle of drinking water in the room either. On the hallway side of your door there is a big wooden bar that makes it possible for anyone to bar/lock your door from the outside with you stuck inside (?!).
I wish them all the best but I don’t feel this hotel warrants the price and the rating. I would’ve been perfectly happy here if I was budget backpacking and had my mind set on that. I feel it’s misleading.
Inaccessibility,
Not accessible by road, even the locals don’t know where it is.
Good service and food. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The boat service was upon request accessible the whole day and the staff was accommodating to this.
Hospitality
Air conditioner was not working very well.
