Leisure Inn 悠然小栈

Positive points:
The hotel is very well located, in the old town of Lijiang. The rooms are clean and spacious. The owner speaks very good English and is easily reachable via WeChat.

Negative points:
We were disappointed because the owner sometimes gave us poor advice. We wanted to go to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and he told us we needed to book three days in advance, with expensive price. However, after doing our own research, we realized we could book for the next day at a much lower price, even including all expenses (transportation, clothing rental, oxygen, entrance fees, etc.).
After returning from our trek in the Tiger Leaping Gorge, we asked if we could stay at the hotel again (we were 3 people instead of 4 this time). The owner offered us a "triple" room at a price that seemed very reasonable. However, we later discovered that the third bed was actually very small and not suitable for a tall adult. It wasn’t really a proper triple room.
He also recommended we go to Dali by minivan instead of taking the train, claiming the time difference was minimal. In reality, the price is about the same, but the trip is much longer because the minivan picks up many passengers along the way!
In short, we found it unfortunate that he seemed more focused on selling services than being fully transparent with us.

Everything. Room is spacious, bed is comfortable, location is great. Staffs are very friendly, Joye is fabulous. I had a great time here.

They set up a WeChat group for us and were super attentive to anything we needed, helped us with free laundry, gived us map pins for places of site seeing, great tips for the best way to visit snow mountain and lugu lake. THANK YOU to everyone of the staffs who made our experience incredible!

The inn is in the ancient city and near to boutique shops restaurants and bars, but away from clowds. Room was clean and comfortable, there's is a cute dog at the yard to greet all the guests.

They were so friendly, and many cups of tea and coffee and nice little conversations.

They were kind enough to sort our laundry for us whilst we were away and store our bags. kept us updated via wechat with everything, helpful team to help navigate the city.

Everyone was very kindhearted, friendly and helpful, I definitely recommend my friends to stay here 10 out of 10!

Hospitality staff with fluently English speaking, every in there made us feel super comfortable during our stay. The room is big and spacious. I couldn't recommend it more!

What made it particularly special was the hospitality. Joye gave us details of our hike to the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the rest of the staff all went above and beyond to make our trip memorable, we sure would go back to Lijiang just to see them again!

This place is absolutely fantastic! I'd recommend it to anyone, whether you're a group of backpackers, a family, professionals, or anyone else!

The staff here are kind, friendly, and take incredible care of you. The room itself is super luxurious for the price and we were really comfortable.

The location is perfect, you only need 7 minutes walking from the hotel to the main gate, not noisy and easy to find restaurant.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, greeting us with a trolley to assist with our luggage. We had a wonderful and fascinating conversation with Joye, he went above and beyond to help us with our trips and even provided packed breakfasts.

This hotel is super clean and has a really nice mix of traditional Chinese charm with a modern, fancy twist. If you're thinking of staying for weeks, this is a great pick! The owners speak perfect English and are really helpful. They can help you book taxis and other stuff at awesome prices. You really should check it out – it's totally worth it!
