This is a must stay.
We loved every single thing about this hotel.
The history made everything so much more special but the upkeep, the amazing and friendly staff, the amazingly beautifully decorated rooms, the attention to detail made us go back for another stay.
This should be your number one choice when choosing accommodation in Urgup or even Cappadocia.
The breakfasts at Kayakapi were exceptional with attentive and very friendly staff. A special shoutout to Ugur, Simah and Rümeysa. Nothing we asked was too much effort for them - thank you for taking care of us so beautifully.
It was our 26th wedding anniversary and to help us celebrate it, they gifted us a wonderful bottle of wine, biscotti and a huge fruit basket - along with their welcome chocolate box, local almonds, raisins and dried apricots. All these extras made the stay even more special and enjoyable.

Very beautiful property for experiencing cave stay, nicely maintained and extremely helpful staff. The property manager ERTUGRUL was very helpful and friendly. He made every possible attempt to ensure our stay was enjoyable.
If you want to be close to the city market and life , it’s a little drive from there . There won’t be any restaurants at walking distance, though property’s own restaurant is very good .

We were absolutely excited about our stay! Exceptionally stylish design of the caves (with a chimney inside, which staff is ready to fire up 24/7) and common areas, views over a beautiful snowy valley, great service and staff, amazing spa. Moreover, I was impressed by the history of the area and the scale of the reconstruction project. If you walk a bit further into the territory of the hotel, you can see caves in the process of reconstruction — beautiful suites to be!

Room arrangement and style
This was an amazing stay that also helps local conservation efforts. Every cave suite or room is named after the original family who last lived in it. The caves are beautifully warm during winter and ours had a personal hammam which was even toastier. The suite included complimentary fruit and snacks which are replenished every day, and it had the most glorious views over Urgup. The property also has a separate larger hammam and the breakfast spread was very generous.
Really lovely and amazing hotel. As soon as we arrived in Cappadocia our Taxi driver from Airport said it’s a best hotel in Cappadocia. It’s has an amazing heated swimming pool in the room.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kayakapi Cave Hotel. The rooms were beautiful and full of character, and the views over Cappadocia were stunning. Breakfast was relaxed and well done, and the staff were genuinely warm and helpful throughout our stay.
Not much to fault overall. Some areas involve a bit of walking due to the layout, which is expected given the nature of the property, but it’s something to be aware of.
