C’était un très bon endroit pour faire une pause entre Kampala et Fort Portal! Éloigné du centre-ville, c’est calme et le personnel est au petits soins. Le rapport qualité prix est le bon!
Struttura carina, calorosa accoglienza e ottima cena
Mildred è una persona fantastica, accogliente e disposta a soddisfare ogni richiesta, ci ha fatto trovare un buffet strepitoso sia per cena che per colazione, tutti i cibi erano buoni e preparati con cura, ci ha deliziato mettendoci della musica di sottofondo ed ha chiamato anche un musicista che ci ha deliziato a cena con la sua voce suonando la chitarra e le sue canzoni per noi. Stanze comodissime molto pulite, un gioiellino questo posto, in periferia di Hoima che ci ha consentito di riposare bene lontano dai rumori della strada principale, sta costruendo altre stanze nel suo resort per cui presto potrà ospitare molti più clienti. Per qualsiasi domanda chiedete a Mildred e vi accontenterà, avevo con me una persona celiaca e si è preoccupata che potesse mangiare senza glutine sia a cena che a colazione
non c'è un punto negativo che possa trovare in questa struttura, tutto perfetto, anche quando è andata via la corrente per un forte temporale Mildred ed il marito si sono subito prodigati per trovare lampade di emergenza.

We stayed In Iziba with a family of 8 for an overnight trip. The host family was very kind and accommodating. Nice rooms, good service, and last but not least, great food (and banana juice)! Recommended.

Nous avons passé une excellente nuit à IZIBA.
L’accueil de Mildred et Christopher était vraiment super, très chaleureux et attentionné. Le lodge est situé au calme, en pleine nature, à l’écart du centre-ville, ce qui permet de se reposer dans un environnement paisible.
Le personnel est accueillant, la chambre très bien, le petit-déjeuner excellent, et le rapport qualité-prix est remarquable.
Un endroit magnifique que je recommande fortement.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at IZIBA.
Mildred and Christopher gave us such a warm and thoughtful welcome — truly great hospitality. The lodge is set in nature, very peaceful and quiet, just a little outside the city center.
The staff were friendly, the room was very comfortable, the breakfast excellent, and the value for money outstanding.
A beautiful place we highly recommend.

We love the facilities, the room and the restaurant are very good. The food is very tasty. The staff makes you feel like home. Good place to stop and relax. Nice to walk around.

Staff is super nice and the food is good. We arrived a bit late and they kept the food for us. is a good location to head to Murchinson the day after early morning
The lodge is a bit hidden, but not a problem
The quality of room and service was exceeding our expectations, we liked everything. The place is newly built or renovated, nice rooms, large bathroom etc. We ordered dinner in addition to the breakfast included to the room price. They even made bonfire after dinner even we were the only quests in the hotel.
Although there were signs in the road there was little bit hard to find the place, especially in the dark. But you always can ask local people yo guide you, they know the place :)

The hotel is not easy to find

The lodge has potential, with a nice appearance and an amazing, attentive staff who did their best to assist us. However, the experience was overshadowed by poor management and unnecessary frustrations. While the location is hard to find using GPS and payment options were inconveniently cash-only in UGX—something we weren’t told in advance—the real issue was the unfair exchange rate imposed at checkout. It felt dishonest, and the owner’s refusal to address it face-to-face, relying on phone communication instead, was unprofessional. On top of that, the food was disappointing. Breakfast included instant coffee, overly sweet toast bread, and margarine, while dinner offered poorly executed European dishes. The lodge is new and has promise, but unfair practices, poor food, and a lack of transparency make it hard to recommend without significant changes.
For sure the guest house is built with a particular attention to the comfort of the guests, up to the smallest detail
This is a new place, so don't be alarmed that it hasnt got any reviews yet! We were the first Booking.com guests. The place is clean and well kept, you get so much comfort for the price. The staff was super friendly, also showing us around the neigborhood. The owners are also very friendly, and food is good.
When we were there the wifi did not work, but it was a network problem and we didnt mind (4G coverage is good)
