Man muss etwa 15 min durch den Dschungel auf Pfäden und über Brücken laufen, aber das ist genau das was es ausmacht.

Die Zimmer sind wirklich schön und professionell gebaut.

If you love nature and adventure, if you like to make new charming friends and if you want to disconnect and relax for a bit, this is the perfect place for you! Everything in Frana Lodge works perfectly (communication, payment, accommodation, staff, food, drinks, etc.) thanks to the lovely couple that give name to the lodge and the amazing staff they have hired and trained. You feel at home a minute after arrival and although there's space for privacy if you choose so, it's almost impossible not to make friends really quickly. And not just Franz and Ana, because they create an atmosphere where you easily start chatting with the staff and the other guests. There's nature all around but the rooms are very comfortable (never bothered by bugs!), and there's hot water in the shower! (not easy to find in the Colombian Caribbean). Great service, yummy food, delicious drinks and the best coffee! Whatever we needed or wanted during our stay, they made it happen, and always with love and care. If you're going to Tayrona, don't hesitate and book this place right away!

Wir haben fast eine Woche in der Frana Lodge verbracht und uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt.
Die Lodge liegt mitten im Dschungel – man überquert einen kleinen Fluss und läuft ein Stück durch die Natur, bevor man ankommt. Genau das macht diesen Ort so besonders.
Der größte Luxus dort ist die Ruhe. Kein Trubel, kein Lärm – stattdessen Vogelgezwitscher am Morgen, Affen in den Bäumen, Schmetterlinge und Natur pur. Man kommt automatisch runter und wird entschleunigt.
Das Herz der Lodge sind die Menschen. Wir wurden unglaublich herzlich empfangen. Ein besonderes Dankeschön an Ivan, Franz und das großartige Küchenteam, das uns jeden Tag so liebevoll mit frisch zubereitetem Essen versorgt hat. Für uns war es das beste vegetarische Essen in ganz Kolumbien.
Auch die Umgebung ist spannend – nicht weit vom Meer und vom Tayrona Park, aber trotzdem ruhig und abgeschieden.
Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können die Frana Lodge absolut weiterempfehlen.

Mention particulière à Ivan qui s’est accueillir à la perfection et fait tout pour que le séjour se déroule au mieux. L’hôtel est très beau, propre et bien décoré. Isole en pleine jungle, c’est un havre de paix en pleine nature.
Le restaurant est excellent !
Il faut juste avoir en tête les 25 min de rando pour y arriver !

Nos encantó absolutamente nuestra estadía aquí. Desde el primer momento nos sentimos bienvenidos: tanto los dueños como todo el equipo son increíblemente amables, atentos y siempre con una sonrisa. La atención al cliente es excepcional; muchas veces parecía que sabían lo que necesitábamos incluso antes de que lo pidiéramos.

La comida fue simplemente espectacular: todo súper, súper rico, preparado con productos de excelente calidad y con muchísimo cuidado en cada detalle. Se nota el cariño y la dedicación en cada plato.

Todo estaba impecablemente limpio. La casa donde nos hospedamos está hecha con muchísimo gusto, cada detalle está bien pensado y cuidado. Además, la naturaleza alrededor es impresionante: estar rodeados de tanta vegetación y tranquilidad fue una experiencia mágica.

Es importante tener en cuenta que está en medio de la jungla y básicamente hay que llegar caminando. Si alguien no está dispuesto a caminar un poco, puede que no sea su lugar ideal. Pero para nosotros, eso fue parte del encanto y lo hizo aún más especial.

Sin duda, volveríamos.

Frana Lodge itself is an amazing remote lodge surrounded by nature and with 5 star service and cuisine. The hot shower was immense and the meals were some of the best we had during our time in Colombia.

Gute Lage, um den Nationalpark und die weiteren Ausflugsziele der Umgebung zu besuchen; sehr schön gestaltete Unterkunft; und sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber.

È stato un soggiorno meraviglioso, abbiamo alloggiato nel bungalow familiare. Personale cortese e disponibile, natura, quiete, una esperienza da provare.

Ideal für Naturliebhaber, die gleichzeitig Ruhe als auch freundliche, nette, kommunikative Leute um sich haben. Die Lage und Ausblicke einmalig, das ganze Team unglaublich nett und aufgeschlossen, Franz hilft, wo er nur kann, sein Assistent Ivan unglaublich hilfsbereit und spannende Gespräche am Abend. Toll auch der nette Abhol- und Zurück Service durch Ivan! Essen schmackhaft, abwechslungsreich und günstig auch. Kann es nur uneingeschränkt empfehlen und hoffe, bald zurückzukehren! Gracias Franz, Ivan y todo el equipo por esa estancia única! Hasta la próxima y un abrazo. PS: Fußgängerbrücke über das Flüsschen im Bau, so bald noch komfortabler am Ziel. Tayrona NP ein Muss, Haupteingang gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

We enjoyed our stay and extended for 2 more days because we really didn‘t want to leave :) Fantastic food, amazing location next to the Nationalpark, a lot to explore nearby, nice hosts and a perfect accomodation with a lot of details. We would love to come back! :) Thank you for everything, Franz.

The place is super beautiful, surrounded by nature and very peaceful. The food is AMAZING, very natural and homemade by the sweetest colombian woman. The owners are very welcoming, helpful and friendly and their little dogs are the cutest!
The location is also very good, you do have to walk about 1km from the road and cross a river as they indicate, but from that road access there are little shops nearby and the Tayrona main entrance is like a 10min walk.
100% recommend it! Gracias a todo el equipo!

Peacefully located in the middle of the jungle
You just need to know that in order to get there you need to cross the river (with water up to your knees) and then walk for about 20min. If you're OK with that, you should be very happy there :)
Inspiring owners

One of the best places I’ve traveled to so far in Colombia, in the middle of nowhere more or less. Amazing surroundings and a lot to see and do nearby. The Tayrona national park is also pretty close.
Very helpful staff and incredibly good food for a reasonable price. Also the staff is very helpful to help you if you have any questions about the area, what to see etc.
You will also have to cross a river to get there which is an experience by itself. You are surrounded by beautiful nature everywhere!
The facilities are very nice as well, I stayed in the cabin which is located a bit outside of the main lodge. Very cozy and private with lots of space.
I already miss this place! So happy to have been here and would love to come back! Thanks for the friendly and cozy atmosphere.

Beautiful location in the middle of the jungle. With stunning views from the different terraces. The owners were friendly and gave us useful tips about what to do and where to go.

The place is set is beautiful área, surrounded by nature. You can listen to the birds signing and the sounds of nature at night and during the day. It is very relaxing.

Our stay at Frana Lodge was excellent. The staff met us right on time to take us on the 15-minute walk to the lodge. Do be prepared for a hike uphill and a river crossing. I'd recommend using a backpack or light luggage that you can easily carry. Our hosts were delightful and all the staff was great to work with. If you don't know what to do during your stay, don't worry. The hosts had many wonderful recommendations for how to make the most of our time there. In addition, the food served on-site was wonderful and the accommodation spaces were exactly as described.
