Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18% .To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IGV), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.
Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.
Foreign business travelers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.

Our room was basic, but functional and clean - excellent considering the price point. The bathroom was also quite spacious and the hot shower works fine.
The owner was very hospitable, and offered us coffee or tea when we arrived early, as well as every morning. We also appreciated being allowed to check in early after arriving in Abancay on an overnight bus. When we asked whether the hotel could call a taxi for us (to get to Ampay National Sactuary), the owner even went down to the street to flag down a taxi for us.
The hotel is located in what seems like a commercial district with lots of shops around. There is a market nearby (Mercado De Productos De Americas), and a smattering of eateries and street food vendors along/near the main road (Carretera Longitudinal de la Sierra Sur). It was straightforward to walk to the main plaza (Plaza de Armas); we also walked to/from the bus terminal (~15-20 mins).
There isn't a fan in the room, so it might get stuffy if the weather gets warm.
The WiFi is very weak from our room on the third floor, but not a big problem for a short stay.

Nice friendly lady. Room was clean. Good location near market.
Unfriendly owning woman hammering against the door at 08:00 because needed to relocate car which I paid 10s extra to be parked... Hammering again to leave at 11:00 also we booked until 13:00 then unasked entered our room to get the sheets from the bed. Same woman watching loud TV until 11pm in the lobby so you could hear everything in the room. A and yes she turned it on in the morning again. Strongly not recommended. Bad exchange rate.
