J’ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel ! Dès mon arrivée, j’ai été accueillie avec un grand sourire et une vraie gentillesse, ce qui met tout de suite à l’aise. Le personnel est non seulement professionnel, mais aussi particulièrement attentionné : toujours prêt à aider, à donner des conseils sur la ville ou à rendre service avec bonne humeur. On sent que la satisfaction des clients leur tient vraiment à cœur. Merci à toute l’équipe pour cette chaleur humaine qui fait toute la différence !

A wonderful, quiet family run boutique hotel! Perfect for those looking for a serene retreat with the family. Rooms are stylish, clean and comfortable, service - immaculate! It's close to the beach yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle enough, so you can get a good nights sleep. This place is perfect for those who are not looking for loud parties and just want a restful stay.

This family run hotel has all you need & much more. Got a call before we left Ireland to say they would send a car for our collection at the airport. We were checked in by Dimitri (the owner), got a complimentary room upgrade (our own outdoor heated hot tub and balcony). Arrived after 10pm & Dimitri’s wife Eleni stayed up to cook us a home-cooked meal. The standard was set. The food,,,, AMAZING. Everything so fresh, tasty & cooked to perfection. They are particularly proud of their homemade Greek yogurt which is made fresh each day by Eleni she pours natural Greek honey over it & scatters crunchy walnuts on top. This is served with the sweetest freshly squeezed orange juice & a wonderful decent coffee. The cooked breakfast follows and well I’ll let the pictures do the talking there. I had been in Marbella the week before, stayed in a 5* on the beach. The food was so disappointing. I didn’t eat for the week & couldn’t bring myself to drink the cheap coffee, it ruined my stay, so you can imagine my complete happiness when I travel to Santorini the following week and I see that there are still people in the world that love good food. Eleni herself has 30 years experience as head chef & you can tell. If it’s good food that makes you happy then you have to stay here. Greek Cuisine is currently the best in the world so no better time to visit. My other comfort excluding hotel furnishings was in the hygiene & immaculate cleanliness. Every single thing spotless. Such comfort of mind. Always a good sign when you can look into an open plan kitchen& see your food being cooked. All our daily plans were actioned by Dimitri, he was like our personal tour operator. He organised a sunset boat trip with a BBQ & drinks, a buggy to tour the Island & he had his driver to hand for any journeys we took to Fira & Oia.

Our stay at Amara Suites was simply perfect. We were there as a family, and it was an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. I absolutely recommend this place I loved everything about it!
The location was also fantastic very convenient and close to everything we needed.

From the moment we stepped over the threshold, nothing was too much trouble for Dimitri who went out of his way to ensure that every moment of our stay was perfect. The room was large, airy and spotlessly clean and we particularly enjoyed the private jacuzzi on our patio. There was also a large communal pool which looked enticing but we didn’t have time to use it on this trip. Maybe next time!

The delicious breakfast is also worth a mention: a large variety of fresh local food is individually served and is more than you can possibly eat. In fact on the day we left we took the excess for both lunch and tea for our journey home! I don’t think I have ever had such an amazing breakfast and I have travelled a lot! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to family and friends back home. Thank you for making us so welcome Dimitri and family!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean and well cared for. Dimitris, the host and owner, was genuinely friendly and made us feel at home right away. The breakfast was delicious and different each morning, which was a great touch. The location was perfect too—close to everything but still peaceful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We had a king suite, we loved the room and outdoor terrace, room was spacious, very comfortable bed, very clean, outside we had hot tub with sun loungers, table and chairs with some lovely plants/trees on terrace, we felt everything in room was luxury quality and loved the decor. The hotel pool is also fabulous, clean with comfortable loungers. Breakfast was amazing, with variety served each day, we thought the food was very good and high quality. Family run hotel, staff are lovely and helpful, Dimitris is keen to ensure you enjoy your stay at hotel & in Santorini, arranged transfers and can arrange trips etc. We will definitely return, in our opinion this is most welcoming hotel we have ever stayed at and thought the hotel was beautiful

We had a really pleasant stay here. Our host, Dimitri, was extremely friendly and welcoming, and he made us feel right at home. I had a small incident where I misplaced the room key, but he was very understanding and cool about it, which we really appreciated.

One small tip for future guests: be extra careful with the safe key, as it’s the only one. Luckily, I found it after misplacing it, but worth keeping in mind.

Overall, a great experience with a very kind host—would definitely recommend!

Our room was spacious and has everything we needed in it, it was cleaned everyday to an excellent standard. The bar and pool area is beautiful and a great place to relax. Dimitris and all the staff at Amara Suites are so lovely, they made us feel welcome and were always so helpful and kind! We had friends and family also staying in Kamari and they were always happy for others to come and visit and have a drink at the bar. The breakfast was also 10/10. We’ll definitely return here!

A beautiful, family-owned hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Perfect location close to the beach and restaurants, yet peaceful and quiet. The owners are kind and very helpful, and also arrange reliable luxury tours and transfers.

Wir waren als Familie zu dritt im Amara Suites Santorini und hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel wird familiär geführt und man spürt sofort die herzliche, persönliche Atmosphäre. Alle – die Familie und das gesamte Team – waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und stets zuvorkommend. Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an Dimitris, den Eigentümer, der sich persönlich um alles gekümmert hat – sei es um tolle Empfehlungen oder die Buchung unserer Ausflüge. Wir haben uns zu jedem Zeitpunkt wie zuhause willkommen gefühlt.

Auch die Lage ist perfekt: Der Strand ist nur 2–3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, gleich um die Ecke gibt es einen Quad-, Roller- und Pkw-Verleih, und direkt daneben findet man sogar einen kleinen Mini-Markt – ideal für alles, was man zwischendurch braucht. Zudem wurde auch auf unsere individuellen Wünsche eingegangen: Da unser Rückflug später war, durften wir ganz entspannt später auschecken, was wir sehr geschätzt haben.

Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
