Rooms were exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The hotel was in a quiet neighborhood and only 8 minutes away from broadway street. Also had its own Parking so parking wasn’t an issue.
All the facilities were good, the room was well laid out and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. We liked the location and even without staff on site, it worked seamlessly. It was a great place for our family of four to stay!
Incredible place, despite of the absence of the personel in person- full contact
Modern approach with code access to rooms with details from past history seen everythere
The only remark- very loud AC on the corridor-may disturb sleep at night i
Unique, comfortable, easy-access
Great location for East Nashville concerts! We drive in from Memphis and typically stay here so we can walk over to Basement East for a show.
The room we were in needed a little refresh/ update and was smaller room than we stayed in before but was listed as same room type as previous stay.
Les petites attentions, le café mais surtout la decoration
On se blesse sur les coins du lit
L,absence de petit dejeuner
Location amazing, room size was perfect with lots of space and good amenities.
Didn’t realize there was no concierge or staff on property when booking — it was a beautiful space but a little dystopian
It's a gorgeous property. It's very comfortable with al the amenities you'd want - a great shower, a great bed.
All good.
My check in experience was only complicated by booking.com. I think I got 12 emails or texts from them before checking in. I finally just called The Russell so I could stop trying to find the right information in an email somewhere. It was complicated and ...a bit stressful to try to find the right email with the information that I needed at check-in time.
See above. Too many emails / texts!!
Everything
Nothing
Beautiful property built in an d church with stunning stain glass windows. Very clean and quiet. Easy free parking across the street. Highly recommend.
Church as they give back to the community!
I think the property was fine
The sheets, towels, and robes were spotless. It was the cleanest place Ive ever stayed in. The treats and wine in the room were a nice special touch. Also it was so convenient to have an ice maker and water machine right down the hall.
Gorgeous, unique facility.
The neighborhood is just ok, like many hotel neighborhoods. It is louder than your typical hotel but they provide a sound machine and ear plugs and that did the job perfectly. There were high stained glass windows in our room which were pretty during the day but still let quite a bit of light from the hallway in even with the curtains closed. The curtains are a tad too short. I hung my jacket in front of the window.
Location was great. I liked that pretty much everything was automated so I didn't have to worry about whether someone would be there when I arrived in the evening to check me in or be there early in the morning to let me check out. I didn't meet anyone in person, but the staff did respond pretty quickly via email when I needed help or had questions so that was great.
The skylight that I paid extra for was basically just a view of the underside of the roof. You couldn't actually see the sky. :(
