Pros:

We loved every moment of our stay. The place is so well thought out, loved and it shows. The attention to details is there. It's hip, aesthetically pleasing and comfy/cozy. It has a vibe and we are there for it. It's like visiting a cool friend's place and wanting to take in every detail. The only downfall truly is- you can't see all the other rooms at the same time of your stay. Video tours on a loop with a back story would be a nice added feature for us who like to geek out on these moments. For this family; it just means we will need to rotate through staying in other rooms and enjoying it.

Bonus! We help others while staying there. Besides the visual intrigue when booking, this is what hooked me. It's a cool mission and a great opportunity to help make a difference in a wonderful community. It's the first place I've visited that does that and now something I'm looking forward to doing on other trips.

Classy and comfortable 4th of July celebration at The Russell.
Pros:

Loved everything about our night at The Russell. The check-in was so simple and the building is beautiful! From the gorgeous stained glass windows and extremly stylish decor, to the very comfortable beds, dyson appliances and those robes! No expense was spared to make this a truly special place to stay. The location was also perfect for our July 4th visit as we were able to walk a short distance to East Park and had a perfect view of Nashville's spectacular fireworks display. We will definitely return to The Russell for our next trip to Nashville.

Cons:

Unfortunately the air conditioning unit in our original room was not working properly. When I called the property manager, she swiftly and seamlessly moved us to a new room. It did not negatively impact our stay at all.

Beautifully refurbished church! Nice theming particularly in light of Nashville location & the Ryman Auditorium nearby being considered the “mother church” of country music! Retro art deco style furnishings! Immaculately clean! Large comfortable beds & rooms! Great East Nashville location! Less than 1 mile from Broadway & downtown attractions! Nice amenities including coffee bar, snack machines, even a recording studio on site! Too cool!

Best experience of Nashville for us. The hotel made the trip worth it alone.
Pros:

Gorgeous gorgeous!! Very clean, vibes were immaculate. Location was great, felt so safe the whole time. For no staff at the location, they still stay updated with us, reached out multiple times if we needed anything. The parking lot across from the hotel made parking so so easy, they had all the things we needed it was just a perfect stay.

One of a kind property makes Nashville stay heavenly!

Beautiful property! Loved that church design & architecture was left intact! Gorgeous stained glass & exceptional craftsmanship in the building! Comfortable bedding! Lovely tiled showers! Spacious rooms & bathrooms! Nice amenities! Spacious lobby with coffee bar, vending area & phone booth, even a selfie station! Like that portion of nightly costs goes to support local charities! Even though staff not onsite, very responsive via phone, email & text! Prime location in East Nashville! Minutes from downtown! Convenient for ride-share services! Pleasant, quiet neighborhood! Great value! More reasonable than pricey downtown hotels!
