If you want a unique and personalized experience away from the crowds book Villa Maina!
Pros:

Margarita & George were the friendliest hosts! They greeted us upon our arrival (despite it being a very late arrival) with hugs, ozue, a small bottle of wine and helped carry our bags to our room. They greeted us in the morning with homemade lukumades and helped us plan our day at the beach which is just a block down the road. We wished we stayed longer - they provided a truly exceptional experience! We loved their property and the location was a nice reprieve from the busier places on the island. HIGHLY recommend - we will be back :)

Cons:

The only thing that could be improved upon is the bed - maybe just adding a mattress topper would do the trick, but it felt like laying on two box springs pushed together. Everything else was amazing.

The staff melted my heart, would come back just for them!!
Pros:

Great location. Very central to the town and right by the water.

Cons:

Bathroom was very small. Every time you showered the entire bathroom would get soaked! Silly.

Perfect location, facilities and the most adorable hosts who completely made the trip special
Pros:

The villa was furnished with everything we needed, including a fridge which was most helpful in the heat! The hosts were the kindest couple who made us breakfast every day, helped with taxis and bus routes, recommendations for things to do, and helped with any concerns at any time. I really couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Cons:

I have nothing negative to say about the stay. It was perfect!

Excellent and Memorable.
Pros:

Everything right from beginning. The host was the biggest asset of this property. She was so charming and caring that we never felt we were away from home. Extremely helpful and loving lady…

Our favourite place to visit
Pros:

This was our second visit to Villa Maina and like coming home to friendly faces.Rita and George are exceptional people who live onsite .I am sure anyone who visit will leave as their friends.

Pros:

George und Margarita sind außergewöhnliche Gastgeber. Beiden ist es wichtig, dass man sich in ihrem Haus wohl fühlt und dass man einen schönen Aufenthalt hat. Beide haben unseren Urlaub zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Wir wurden jeden Tag mit selbst gebackenen Köstlichkeiten verwöhnt. Auch die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt. Man hat nur wenige Meter zum Strand und den vielen Lokalen. Ganz großes Kompliment an dieses Haus.

Cons:

Es gibt's nichts, was nicht gepasst hätte.

Lovely hosts, perfect location
Pros:

The hosts Rita and her husband are such a lovely persons, they immediately make you feel at home. Every morning Rita cooked a delicious home made dish. There is a kettle with coffee, tea and milk cups in the room and an endless supply of bottled water. The location is perfect, just a 1-minute walk to the beach. I will definitely come back, this was one of my best experiences ever.

Incredible. Would recommend to anyone and definitely planning to visit again!
Pros:

The host was incredibly welcoming and greeted us with a smile and warm hug when we arrived.
Every morning we woke up to the smell of freshly baked homemade breakfast and coffee.
The team was responsive, kind and made our stay in Santorini unforgettable!
I can't recommend this place enough. It really felt like being adopted by a host family on a little Greek island :)

I have to add that they never asked us to write this review. We're genuinely just so grateful for their hospitality that we felt it was necessary to share our experience with you!
