Pros:

The location was good just across from the river. The chateau is very impressive. Lovely room with views of the river.

Cons:

The restaurant was closed on the Tuesday we were there and there wasn't much choice of places to eat within walking distance.

Pros:

Het ontbijt was lekker en voldoende enkel misschien voor de toekomst een bordje uitleg bij de koffiemachine,
wij hadden een koffie gekozen en kwamen niet toe met er een tas onder te zetten, het was bedoeld voor een potje koffie dus dat was even knoeien op dat moment :)

We hadden meer rust verwacht

Wel een redelijke locatie, wel een drukke weg langs het hotel

Cons:

We hadden ‘s nachts erg veel last van lawaai…waterzuivering? En de lichtbakken aan de muren van het hotel schijnen erg de kamer in. Het was warm weer, maar de airco maakt te veel lawaai om ‘s nachts aan te laten

De locatie is fantastisch!

Cons:

Op maandag is eigenlijk alles gesloten betreft horeca. Het dan ook vreemd voor zo’n hotel het restaurant niet geopend is. Ook dat er rondom niets open is.

Overall, it was very quiet and quaint once the party outside ended.
Pros:

I liked the location by the river. I liked that there is no major highway immediately adjacent to the hotel. And I like that the hotel is surrounded by well-kept and landscaped grounds in a cozy setting. I also liked that the facility had historic significance that added to the ambiance of our stay.

Cons:

I didn't like the special event that was happening immediately outside our room window for the first 3 hours of our stay. It clogged the parking lot with cars from party goes leaving no spaces for overnight guests to park. The music was extremely loud techno music that maintained a non-stop thumping sound that made it difficult to relax after a long day of driving and touring. It sounded like a Berlin disco outside our window - DJ included, but it finally ended as dark approached and the peacefulness of our stay was allowed to begin.
