Sijainti kiva, mutta Victoriajärvessä ei voi uida loisriskin vuoksi.
Rauhaisa alue, kaunista luontoa. Hotellilta voi tilata opastetun sademetsäkävelyn.

Cons:

Les activités proposées ne sont pas du tout au niveau (vélo, massage, canoë...).
Le personnel ne se coordonne pas et cela engendre des lenteurs, des dysfonctionnements...

A gorgeous location and worth the ferry ride. While the hotel itself could use some work, the views and location more than make up for it. Great for bird watchers and those keen on a quiet getaway.

Cons:

The hotel needs to replace much of the furniture outside of the hotel rooms. The suit beds by the pool were all broken and the plastic chairs by the lake were cracked - one collapsed under my small frame.

For a few nights I was the only guest at the hotel. While this had its unique perks, it was also a bit overwhelming how often male staff members would sit down to apparently have a drink with me - when I wasn’t drinking.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall environment felt calm and relaxing — perfect for anyone looking to unwind away from the city. The property has great potential for an even more enjoyable stay with a few small improvements.

Cons:

The resort could really benefit from more regular fumigation. Given its location near water and dense forestry, there are quite a lot of insects, crawlies, and even frogs around — and because the doors are slightly raised off the ground, frogs often make their way into the rooms. Additionally, the bar was quite understocked, with many common beverages and alcoholic options unavailable, which was disappointing, especially considering advance guest bookings.

Pros:

Pick up service von und zurück zur der Fähre hat reibungslos funktioniert, sehr ruhige Umgebung mit toller Aussicht,
gute Zusatzangebote, gutes umfangreiches Frühstück. Sehr gutes candle light dinner Samstag Abend für fairen Preis.
Personal ist sehr freundlich, Anlage ist sauber und gepflegt, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Cons:

Auswahl der Gerichte am Abend sehr begrenzt und Qualität sehr wechselhaft, bei den Cocktails an der Bar ist die Qualität
leider mangelhaft. Bezahlung mit Karte möglich, es wird aber ein sehr schlechter Kurs UGX/€ angeboten. Bezahlung in US$
ist zu empfehle. Häufig Stromausfall

Pros:

- Nice looking location and buildings.
- They offer several acitivities.
- Very Friendly staff and guides.
- Unlike some other reviewers, I liked the massage, especially for the price (6 Euros for upper body / 12 Euros for full body).

Cons:

- There is no air conditioning despite the high temperatures.
- There was a power outage on the Island for nearly a whole day and apparently it can happen from time to time. Of course that's not the hotel's fault, but it should be kept in mind when coming here.
- Showering water is only luke warm and even that is only there for a few minutes before it gets ice cold.
- There is barely any light protection for the windows, so it's very bright in the morning. They even put a mirror on the side of the bed facing away from the windows, so light is always shining in your face.
- No sound proving whatsover, so you hear a lot from your neighbors and especially the myriads of birds outside, that start their day quite early.
- For some reason all the hotels in the region have very poorly constructed mosquito protection at the windows, this one included (mosquito net as seperate slidable door with significanr gaps instead of putting the net solidly on one window). This means some mosquitos always get in the room.
- The beds are very short, even for hotel standards.
- The ferry to Entebbe leaves only once a day early in the morning, so I couldn't leave for a whole day after realizing the detrimental circumstances listed above. Again that's not the hotel's fault, but it can make the stay inconvenient.

The location is wonderful.

Cons:

The hotel is old and not well maintained. The manager has been rude to us on multiple occasions and tried to squeeze money in different ways. He was supposed to bring us to the ferry and we almost lost the only available boat of the day. The staff would repeatedly charge double in your bill. If you are not careful you will end up paying way more than you consumed.
The rooms assigned to us were not the reserved ones. The swimming pool is not the one in the picture, they might have used a bit of AI to make the place look better in the picture.

Exceptional
Pros:

The stay has been amazing! The staff is very friendly and always help us trough our requests. They also have some very romantic settings. The position is just on the lake and with a beautiful pool. I would go back immediately.
