Wunderbar erholsamer Platz, gemütliches Haus und herzliche Menschen
Pros:

Der Dorferwirt hat uns überrascht mit einer Herzlichkeit, wie sie heute kaum mehr zu finden ist. Die Familie führt das Haus selbst und ist trotz der vielen Arbeit im großen Haus immer freundlich und zurvorkommend. Am Ankunftsabend bekamen wir einen Tisch für ein Glas Wein in einem gemütlichen Nebenraum mit Wohnzimmeratmosphäre, weil der Speisesaal ausgebucht war. Nachdem wir am nächsten Tag selbst Wild gegessen hatten, wussten wir, warum das Restaurant so gut gebucht ist. Es schmeckt einfach hervorragend und das Service ist perfekt. Auch das Frühstück ist vielfältig und lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Es gibt auch eine kleine und nette Sauna im Haus, die auf Wunsch eingeschalten wird.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein einfaches Zweibettzimmer im Nebenhaus mit Blick auf den See gebucht. Beim nächsten Mal werden wir ein wenig drauflegen und ein schöneres Zimmer im Haupthaus wählen.

Simply wonderful
Pros:

Breakfasts were a dream. Fresh made local breads and pastries, homemade marmalades, local soft and hard cheeses, cold cuts….
Wonderful espresso individually brewed by the daughter of the house, top notch Apfelstrudl…..
Tu sum up: delightful. We are Austrians living in the US and appreciate authenticity. You will find it at Dorferwirt .
The Location is great if you have a car. The venue is located at a charming pre alpine lake with wonderful views of Schafberg, Dachstein glacier. A 15 minute ride will get you to the sound of music area with is mountains., lakes and famous vistas.
We cannot conclude without mentioning the family managed kitchen, which delighted us with local specialties.
Last not least, we enjoyed witnessing a hard working family trying to make this a wonderful stay for us. They fully succeeded
