Danae has an exquisite design inside while preserving the historical exterior. The bed and sofa are very comfortable, the room was quiet, and there are several small amenities that made this a very comfortable stay. It’s also in an ideal centralized location to visit the historic sites. The property manager was so lovely and accommodating with several great recommendations for local spots.

This hotel was a little gem! A quaint boutique hotel in a wonderfully renovated historical building right in the middle of old town of Nafplio. It is a perfect mix of modern comfort and old charm. My room offered a balcony which overlooked the unique stores in the pebbled laneway below...perfect for my morning coffee. The white stairway, the original stone walls and the vaulted ceiling truly showcased the character of the original building.
And the location, well it was within walking distance to everything. The main piazza, restaurants and the harbour.
The hotel is managed by the owner who was absolutely delightful. Her knowledge of the region and her warm and welcoming personality was exactly what I needed as a solo traveller.
Danae Hotel is the elegance comfort within Nafplion City, I highly reconmend it. The host is of high calibre and a cultured personality, this is also reflected within Danae rooms. I choose the Luxury Quadruple Room which exceeded my expectations, I felt like I am staying and living in very sophisticated place, I opened the shutters and sat in the balcony, just above the pedestrian beautiful area of Nafplion.

The host Hara was great. Super nice and very helpful. The room was very big and comfortable, with a really nice terrace, really special and nicely designed. Location is great - right in the old town. The bed is big and comfy.
The fact that there are no elevators, and rooms could be on the 3rd floor. But honestly - it's an old town and that's just how it is everywhere. So just don't be surprised!
Water pressure in our shower could be improved, and perhaps installing glass doors to the shower could be handy since every shower is a flood.

Absolutely Fantastic Stay! We had a wonderful stay at Danae Hotel. The room was excellent — modern, stylish, and very comfortable. We especially loved the balcony, perfect for enjoying drinks in the evening. Despite being right in the heart of the old town, the room was perfectly quiet at night with the shutters closed, and the air conditioning worked great.
What really sets Daneo Hotel apart, though, is the amazing staff and their warm hospitality. The service was exceptional — they even treated us to homemade carrot cake and a little Mastika, which was such a lovely personal touch.
Highly recommend this hotel — we’ll definitely stay here again!

חדר לא מספיק מואר. התכנון של חדר האמבטיה לקוי . המקלחת בכניסה לחדר האמבטיה ללא זכוכית מפרידה כך שהמים מציפים את המקלחת , מי שאמור להשתמש בשירותים נכנס לשלולית מים ועלול להחליק.
Très bon séjour au Danae Hôtel. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Chara qui a été très attentionnée pendant tout le séjour. Notre chambre était au calme, très bien décorée et propre. L'hôtel est très bien situé au coeur de la vieille ville. Nous recommandons+++

The room was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and in the perfect location. You can tell a lot of care went into every detail.
It was comfortable, modern, clean, comfortable and close to parking along the waterfront.
The owner Hara is extremely pleasant and welcoming. Super clean and a wonderful vibe.
