Big room for a family.

Big room.

Cons:

Futon were very hard. It was not comfortable futons.

A great, relaxed mini break with stunning surroundings.
Pros:

We booked 2 nights at last minute and without meals. The staff, cleanliness and available facilities were exceptional, particularly the baths and of course the karaoke room! The location is stunning if you take a walk around. A beautiful place with hot springs and incredible natural surroundings. Really interesting areas to explore and visit within 45 minutes of Ashinomaki.

Cons:

The village is quite run down with several empty buildings and businesses closed. This is sad to see but if you get out of the car and wander around you can see the lovely village that it is.
The decor of the hotel feels dated, however it is in perfect condition and spotlessly clean. The bar didn't seem to be open which was disappointing but vending machines were available.
