We enjoyed our stay. I always check pillow insert to check the cleanliness of at hotel, fortunately Pelican inn’s pillow

Fabulous place to stay in Bangalore
Pros:

We stayed at this fantastic hotel for 7 nights.

Communication before we arrived was excellent, which is generally a good sign!

It is in a great location, a few minutes walk from the metro, an easy place to get an Uber from and just a short walk to Church Street.

As soon as you arrive the team are helpful and welcoming. The entrance is just to the side of the pub - 1522, so very easy to find. There is a lift up to a clean and modern reception area on the 1st floor.

Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious and well equipped. Bed linen and towels were clean, bed was super comfy. Air con worked well. Plenty of storage place - important when you are somewhere for a week.

Kettle with tea and coffee provided and the proper mugs made a welcome change from the tiny cups you normally find in Indian hotels!

Bathroom was great - powerful shower, enclosed so floor stayed dry. Lots of hot water. Space for toiletries in the bathroom and a hairdryer!

We enjoyed going to 1522 downstairs - lovely food, great drinks and super friendly service. We were not disturbed by any noise from the pub or the road.

We had some laundry done during our stay and it came back beautifully washed and pressed.

Photos on Booking.com are a true reflection of the property.

The people who work here are brilliant. They were so kind to us. Big thank you to Buntynand the team for making our stay in Bangalore so memorable.

Do not hesitate to stay in this great hotel

Short and sweet. Very helpful staffs.
Pros:

The Location was central and near to shops etc.

Cons:

Outside the hotel is somewhat dirty and gave a bad first impression.

C’è poco da dire…. Tutto veramente top…. Camera immensa e molto pulita,
Con tutto il necessario per un boutique hotel….. ma la particolarità è il rapporto qualità/prezzo che non ha eguali…. Situato in una zona molto centrale, ma leggero fuori dal casino Avevo letto alcune recensioni negative sul fatto che sotto c’è un pub e che facevano molto rumore a me non mi é successo solo qualche urlo ma dalle 22:30 era tutto tranquillo

Se devo guardare il pelo nell’ uovo non fanno la colazione…..

Great location , nice staff and super clean room
Pros:

Spacious clan rooms and great communication. I had to arrive at 5am in the morning, so sensibly I booked the previous night so I can check in. The tram had made sure my room was ready so I go straight to rest.

Cons:

It’s not the property it’s just India . Honk honk

Excellent value hotel in the heart of the Ooru
Pros:

Brilliant hotel for the price point. Super comfy bed, fantastic shower, a/c was adequate. A great location above a funky pub in a great part of the Ooru.

Cons:

TV not working, but didn't need it so just a minor point.
