Fabulous oasis in the heart of Hydra town with kind staff and superb breakfast
Pros:

Great location close to the port (with no steps or hills!) yet incredibly quiet. The pool was amazing and the building (an old sponge factory) and gardens are gorgeous. The style is slightly rustic and eclectic but we loved it. We thought the breakfast was excellent. Staff were really friendly and helpful as well.

Personal shoutout to the cleaning staff. Our trip was just after I suffered a miscarriage and had surgery but left me with a haematoma which unexpectedly burst whilst I was away which was very distressing. The staff were so kind at making me feel at ease as I felt so bad, and even washed my pyjamas free for me. It made such a difference to feeling relaxed on this much needed break. Thank you so much.

Cons:

We could have done with a full length hanging rail in the room but for a few days it was no problem.

Perfect stay in magical Hydra.
Pros:

Beautiful property in an old sponge factory. Loved the deep pool. The front desk staff was so kind and helpful going beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

Many good features but really disappointing room. Perhaps there were better rooms but ours felt old, shabby and overpric

Good location, great breakfast and breakfast staff, good AC, fabulous pool, comfortable bed

Cons:

Our room was disappointing-felt old and poorly maintained, mold and rusted fan in the bathroom, lamp shades stained and didn’t fit lamp. Very expensive and misleading pictures on booking site.

Idyllic Hydra accommodation with delicious breakfast and calm, relaxed atmosphere.
Pros:

Location was ideal for strolling the island without having to climb a hill with your luggage. Breakfast was idyllic- delicious Greek fare set next to the swimming pool and courtyard. Rooms were clean and cool. Surrounds were lively but late at night it was super quiet.

Cons:

The shower was a bit small!

Unser Aufenthalt im Boutique Hotel Bratsera war einfach rundum perfekt. Dieses Hotel verbindet historischen Charme mit modernem Komfort.

Die Lage:
Unschlagbar! Das Hotel liegt angenehm ruhig und idyllisch, abseits des Trubels, aber dennoch ist man in wenigen Gehminuten mitten im malerischen Hafen von Hydra. Die perfekte Ausgangslage, um die autofreie Insel zu erkunden.

Das Personal:
Das gesamte Team ist überaus aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und liest den Gästen jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und wie zu Hause.

Das Frühstück:
Ein absolutes Highlight! Das Frühstück besticht durch eine überaus große Vielfalt und lässt keinerlei Wünsche offen. Von frischen, lokalen Spezialitäten über eine tolle Auswahl an herzhaften und süßen Speisen bis hin zu erstklassigem Kaffee – hier startet man perfekt gestärkt in den Tag. Der charmante Innenhof bietet zudem die perfekte Kulisse für ein entspanntes morgendliches Genießen.

Beautiful gem of a hotel with fantastic staff .
Pros:

This is a beautiful gem of a hotel located perfectly just back from the main port and the hustle and bustle . The hotel pool and communal areas are fantastic , especially the pool which is encased in a court yard with sun beds, seating and covered areas . Breakfast was excellent and lunch , we did not have dinner, was of a very high standard. The staff so very attentive and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Fantastic !

Cons:

Our only minor criticism ( constructive we hope ) was that the bathroom was quite compact and the shower very small . It could benefit from a large shower and a reconfiguration . There was a lack of storage and we had to live from our suitcases . Again there was room for a good sized unit to resolve this . As our room was split level and therefore, it really could benefit from a hand rail . These are only suggestions and did not detract from our great stay .
