Extremely Unfriendly and Unhelpful Experience
Cons:

Our stay at Panorama New Generation Hotel in Crete was honestly one of the worst and most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the very first moment, the staff were cold, unfriendly, and completely unhelpful.

We arrived tired and expected the room we had booked and paid for, but they gave us a completely different type of room. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to solve the situation, they were rude, dismissive, and acted like it was our fault. The so-called emergency hotline didn’t even answer — only on the third attempt did someone finally pick up, and even then, we received no real help.

We tried everything — contacting both the hotel and Booking.com several times — but nobody cared or offered any understanding. The hotel staff seemed more focused on keeping our money than providing even basic hospitality. The least they could have done was admit their mistake or try to make things right, but they simply refused.

In the end, we had to open a chargeback case through our bank, which we won — that fact alone says everything about how we were treated and how wrong the situation was.

If you value honesty, kindness, or even the smallest amount of professionalism, stay away from this place. There are many wonderful hotels in Crete where guests are treated with warmth and respect — this is absolutely not one of them.

Perfect!
Pros:

Perfect location! Location is on the edge of the town, quiet with a beautiful view. Easily walking distance to the town and ferry. Parking across the street. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice.

Schönes Hotel mit einigen Schwächen
Pros:

Die Zimmer sind sehr modern, geschmackvoll und komfortabel. Das Frühstück (kleines Büffet) ist vielseitig, gesund und auskömmlich. Es gibt kostenlos nur Filterkaffee.
Der Pool ist schön gelegen und man findet reichlich ansprechende Sitzplätze zum Relaxen.
Kostenlose Parkplätze unter großen Pinien.
Wer's im Urlaub braucht: es gab sogar alle deutschen Fernsehkanäle.

Cons:

Leider habe ich - obwohl sehr früh gebucht - keinen einzigen Zimmerwunsch erfüllt bekommen. Weder hatten wir ein ruhiges Zimmer (zwar mit Meerblick, aber direkt an der Strasse, sodass man morgens nur bei geschlossenem Fenster noch schlafen konnte), noch eines in einem oberen Stockwerk, noch eines OHNE Verbindungstür. Zum Glück waren unsere Nachbarn leise, ansonsten wäre dies sehr ärgerlich gewesen. Überhaupt ist das Hotel sehr hellhörig.
Aus dem Bad kam während des gesamten Aufenthaltes ein seltsamer Geruch, auch wenn die Tür geschlossen war.
Die Barpreise waren für Kretische Verhältnisse ziemlich hoch.
Leider wird der Pool wohl nur selten oder nicht ausreichend gereinigt, denn auf dem Wasser befindet sich ein Film aus Sonnenöl und Schweiss denn kaum ein Hotelgast geht in den Pool ohne sich vorher abgeduscht zu haben (auch weil die Dusche direkt neben Sonnenliegen angebracht ist).
Aus unserer Sicht ist es ein schönes Hotel mit einigen Schwächen und daher für kretische Verhältnisse überteuert.

One of the receptionists was quite unhelpful… but the other was very friendly- as was the lady who cleaned the rooms.

Cons:

L'accueil et le service n'étaient pas au rendez-vous. Salle du petit déjeuner très étroite, ce qui rend l'accès au buffet difficile.

Personnel pas aimable et ne prenant pas en compte nos demandes
- parking de 8 places saturé pour 11 chambres
- 2 tables seulement en intérieur et tables en extérieur non essuyées après la pluie pour le service petit déjeuner
- maintenance non assurée, miroir cassé, trous dans les murs...
-insonorisation mauvaise surtout côté route, j'avais demandé en Mai de bien prendre en compte ma demande d'être bien à l'opposé de cette route et j'avais reçu un accord par écrit. Mais à l'arrivée en octobre ma chambre ne me fût pas attribuée à l'opposé de la route et aucune possibilité de changer!!

Traumhaft gelegenes Boutiquehotel
Pros:

Das Personal sehr freundlich, das Frühstück sehr gut bis auf die Marmeladenauswahl und Käseauswahl, könnte man verbessern, geschmackvolle Ausstattung, toller Pool

Schöne Aussicht mit tollem Pool. Das Personal war super nett. Es war sehr sauber.

Cons:

Die Zimmer waren sehr hellhörig.
Unser Zimmer hatte eine Verbindungstüre zu dem Zimmer daneben. Sehr komisch und man hat wirklich alles von dem Nebenzimmer gehört.
