Needed to use ear plugs as music loud and late - from a bar downstairs or nearby.

The bar next door plays loud music until about 3am.

Kept up from 22-04.00 with music blaring and vibrating the hotel bed until 3.21am the room is not serviceable or fit for purpose. The basic requirements of a hotel are sleep.

They say the doors are “sound proofed” but not adequately enough in room 112. Our first night was HORRIFIC, and left us exhausted for our following day and ruined our last day in Athens. We asked to change rooms, which was accommodated after initially being told they were “fully booked”. Room 212 was better, but even up another floor you can still hear the music.

As people in their early 30s who live in a major city and party we are used to noise and pretty tolerant. This was a joke though and way beyond anything we have ever experienced while travelling across the world staying in hostels / hotels and apartments. Feel really bad for residents who live in the area and listen to it every night.

If you are booking do to not stay in room 112. It’s a real shame that they have missed on such a major point, and don’t seem to care that people need sleep / rest and don’t state clearly on their booking how noisy the place is. Will be reporting to booking.com as it needs to be clearer at booking what “party hotel” means - we just thought it meant a fun, convivial atmosphere.

Loud music from the bar beneath

Vi som var där lite off season kanske upplevde lite mindre service i takbar och reception. Men det är å andra sidan bara att ringa eller gå ner till baren för att få hjälp med något. Musiken från baren hördes, vilket vi läst om, men för oss som bodde två våningar upp var det verkligen inget stort problem. Öronproppar låg också i receptionen för de som vill ha. För mig räckte det med lite avslappningsmusik i öronen. Dock spelades det möjligen omotiverat högt upptäckte vi när vi själva gick dit under lördagkvällen.

Man skulle verkligen behöva ta med i beskrivningen av detta fina hotell att hotellets nattklubb spelar VÄLDIGT hög musik till morgontimmarna. Jag hade läst det någonstans så hade öronproppar, vilket även finns på hotellet såg jag sedan. Blev inget problem för oss. Har man problem med sömnen så behöver man verkligen överväga att inte boka detta hotell. Det är ju lite synd eftersom det är ett så fint hotell!

Nothing, it was great

The neighborhood seemed a bit scetchy at first but afrer a couple days we realized it is just due to being so close to the centre and there is nothing to be afraid of!

Bar that was right below our room and we could hear the music till 5am. It was not possible to sleep the first night, second night we visited he bar + ear plugs really helped.
