Struttura bella, camera nuova, confortevole e pulita. Ascensore comodissimo. Parcheggio libero nelle vicinanze (nei pressi della chiesetta sopra). La struttura è appena fuori dalla confusione del centro ma praticamente a due passi, basta scendere pochi scalini per essere nella zona ristoranti.
L'unico neo è che la struttura è proprio di fronte all'attracco delle navi merci: c'è un po' di via vai rumoroso per gli scarichi di materiali. Peccato perché sarebbe stato bello dormire cullati dal rumore del mare.
The property was modern and refurbished with excellent facilities. The bathroom was spacious and bedding exceptional and I slept so comfortably. The balcony was spacious with views around the port and township. Everything so close within walking distance. The owner Sophia was very welcoming with excellent communication skills and helped me settle in with ease. Would highly recommend this place as it is a hidden gem! I will definitely return!

Dostaliśmy pokój na parterze z mikro balkonem, a w ofercie było z dużym balkonem na piętrze. Lokalizacja przy samym porcie dla promów ALE zaraz poniżej jest oczyszczalnia ścieków lub stacja uzdatniania i niestety czasem nieprzyjemne zapachy was dopadną.
Conveniently located near the ferry departure point.
The location is not suitable for a holiday: there’s a sewage smell outside and a lot of traffic. It only works as a one-night stopover for convenient logistics.
We had a late ferry into Karpathos and Dolphin is at the foot of the harbor. No looking around, no trying to get a taxi, we just walked up the stairs and Sophia was waiting for us. Perfection.
Our overall experience was not what we had expected. Unfortunately, we did not have a pleasant or relaxing stay
On several occasions, the lady at the reception, who we understood to be the owner, knocked on our door asking us to remove the messages we had addressed to Booking.com customer service.
The messages we received from the property, which appeared to be written by a different person, were also rude and unprofessional. The whole situation was stressful and confusing.
The property is advertised on Booking.com as a one-bedroom apartment with a sofa bed, a large balcony, and a washing machine in the kitchen area. However, the apartment we were given had no washing machine and only a very small balcony at street level. Guess what, our street-level balcony had a surveillance camera facing towards it.
The photos on the listing are misleading and give the impression that all rooms have the larger balcony. We were later told that only a few rooms have these balconies and that they were already occupied.
We had several disagreements with the owner regarding the accommodation we had booked. They insisted that we had booked a studio rather than the one-bedroom apartment with a sofa bed that we had paid for, which was simply not correct. Instead of acknowledging our concerns, the owner repeatedly blamed us for misunderstanding the booking. This had a negative impact on our holiday.
There is no washing machine in the apartment. Instead, they only offer a paid laundry service, which is not clearly stated in the listing.
The location is near the harbour and around a 10-minute walk from most restaurants. However, it is not close to the sandy beach as we expected. In their listing advertised beachfront access and a lush garden, but these descriptions did not match what we found during our stay.
The roads leading to the property are extremely narrow, and there is no on-site parking. The nearest parking area is about a 10-minute walk away, which is inconvenient if you have luggage or require walking assistance.

At Dolphin Apartments Hotel there was no breakfast at the premises. However you can opt for a quick coffee or tea (machines provided) and whatever you like to add and bring to the fridge in the room, or go to one of the caffees downwards the Anapafseos street. I have used both options (including excellent breakfast at Cafe Lambrinos)
I liked that hotel did have an elevator. I didn't like it was operated by a snail... :))
