Pros:

At Dolphin Apartments Hotel there was no breakfast at the premises. However you can opt for a quick coffee or tea (machines provided) and whatever you like to add and bring to the fridge in the room, or go to one of the caffees downwards the Anapafseos street. I have used both options (including excellent breakfast at Cafe Lambrinos)

Cons:

I liked that hotel did have an elevator. I didn't like it was operated by a snail... :))

Lovely hotel near the port in Karpathos
Pros:

Good location near to port but alot of steps to climb if you go up from where boats dock. Spacious rooms which are modern and smart.
Very comfortable beds.

Cons:

Had view of port and sea.

Beautifully modernised rooms, great location near ferry port and the town. Sofia, the host, is lovely, very welcoming and helpful. Would love to stay again.

Not a good experience
Pros:

The location was great if you are catching the ferry - right near the water, and easy walking to restaurants and shops

Cons:

Unfortunately despite booking and paying, when we arrived there were no rooms. At first we were told that they couldn't help us, but when I showed that we had paid, the Owners mother? after many phones calls to her family, did finally help us find somewhere else for the night. We had booked two days before, and the Dolphin was still showing three available rooms on booking.com when we arrived. This is the first time this has happened to us on this website, and it was not a great experience.
The hotel we were moved to was in a worse category with a rating of 6.7 We would have appreciated a refund of our payment for the hassle it caused us (arriving at 3 we didn't finally get a room until after 5) We felt sorry for the poor woman as she was put in a bad position.

Pros:

Appena ristrutturato,molto bella la camera,moderna e spaziosa dotata di tutti i servizi,comodo il letto,gentilissima la signora ad accoglierci,vicino al porto e vicino al centro,consigliatissimo per stare a picadia,grandi balconi e ci si addormenta con il rumore del mare

A family-run hotel that offers good value for money
Pros:

The location is excellent, particularly for those without a car. For guests with a car, access to the hotel can be challenging due to the very narrow streets. However, there is a convenient free public parking area about 300 meters away. The hotel has been renovated, and the rooms look completely different from the photos previously published.

Al centro ma lontano dal caos
Pros:

Struttura appena rimodernata
Molto pulita e ben arredata.
Il balconcino praticamente a mare
Con vista sulla parte finale del porto e parte della baia di Pigadia
Ho dormito sempre con la finestra aperta coccolato dal suono delle onde che si infrangevano sugli scogli, molto rilassante
Il bagno con ampia doccia separata da paratia in vetro con soffione a soffitto in aggiunta all miscelatore tradizionale

La signora Sofia che gestisce la struttura semplicemente adorabile

Cons:

Se noleggi l'auto difficoltà al parcheggio
Quando arrivano le navi c'è un po di trambusto
Ma per la posizione centrale della struttura, che è posizionata alla fine del porto lontano dai localini e taverne è un problema sorvolabile

Pros:

TUTTO.
La posizione fantastica. Città e porto tutto insieme . Come esci dalla nave alzi lo sguardo e lo trovi davanti con un po di scale. Completamente nuovo di zecca ,ancora in fase di arredo interni. Nuovo, moderno accessoriato con tutto indispensabile. E poi c'è Lei
