Quirky charm. It’s about the look and vibe more than comfort. Needs some cheering up.
Pros:

Location is great for walking. Decor inside is attractive. Staff very helpful. Wellness area looks nice.

Cons:

Room lighting very poor. TV has three working channels. No drain stopper in bathroom sink. No daytime privacy curtains. No tissue box. Foam mattress worn in center. Library on ground floor so dark it’s difficult to read. Entrance stairway from street a bit shabby.

Great stay.,
Pros:

The ambience and the staff who were exceptional. Breakfast v good and dinner was delicious. Good choice of wines and cocktails.

Cons:

We felt the bathrooms could do with a bit of an upgrade, new showers.

Pros:

Fantastic location in the very center of Bad Gastein, very good restaurant with a resting room where you can spend few hours during the day and sauna was absolutely amazing after a very tiring day.
