Not so expensive , AC room , comfortable bed
the shower and toilet were too close to each other

The pictures.
We called ahead to see if we could book in. We have been booking 1 night in a few places and extending to two if we have wanted to explore for longer (which has been 95% of the time during our 30 day visit to Sri Lanka) When the lady answered the phone she wasn't happy it was for one night. We said we would get a call back confirming either way. That didn't happen so assuming we were forgotten, we booked through booking.com the day before our stay. On the morning of our stay while travelling from Ella to Kandy the accommodation was cancelled, reason being, a water leak. We were offered a sister accommodation but decided to book in with someone else, impeding our journey. We were disappointed. Ended up staying in Kandy for 2 nights anyway. The cancellation didn't feel very transparent to us considering we're traveling in shoulder season and lots of places are preparing to open for high season.

Reasonably priced. Brilliant location
Great food. Very clean and comfortable rooms! Very helpful staff. Amazing view of the dam.
Washrooms are well equipped but can be too cramped
It has great view of The Polgolla Dam. The room was well maintained and comfortable.
No complaints as everything about the place was perfect.
Pavlin Lodge is Very luxurious for a budget hotel. Didn’t seem budget at all. Very clean and hygienic rooms, restaurant, washrooms and lobby. Staff was very friendly and polite. Extremely amazing view of the dam and the river! Looks even better at night when the dam lights come on.
Fabulous breakfast at a very very minimal fee. Quality bed linen. Comfortable spring mattresses hence we slept very well. All essentials are available in the room. AC was brilliant! The best we’ve had so far. We definitely would visit again! Costed us less than USD 25 for facilities and services worth usd 100.
