We had a very pleasant stay at this traditional Austrian Alpine hotel in Sankt Gilgen. The rooms were clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel offers convenient private parking around the property, which was a great advantage.

Breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of food, and freshly made scrambled eggs available on request, which we really appreciated. We visited during a heat wave, and although the room did not have air conditioning, a portable fan was provided, making our stay much more comfortable.

The location is excellent, just a short walk from both the beach and the town center, making it easy to explore the area. We would happily stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an authentic Austrian Alpine experience.

Pros:

Tudo perfeito, limpo e atualizado . Elevador disponível para os andares superiores. Café da manhã excelente! Fomos recepcionados pelo simpático proprietário Markus que gentilmente nos passou várias dicas e passeios. Estacionamento ótimo!!

A hidden gem with the most caring and helpful staff
Pros:

Every single staff member was so kind, and the breakfast was delicious—the homemade butter was truly a highlight. The hotel is also perfectly located, incredibly close to the bus stop and the pier.
​I had an unexpected medical emergency during my trip, and the staff was a lifesaver in helping me get medical care. I was so flustered that I forgot my credit card at the hospital, but the staff took the call on my behalf and retrieved it for me. I can’t thank them enough for their incredible hospitality. Next time I'm in St. Gilgen, I’ll definitely be staying here longer!

Cons:

Although the lack of air conditioning was a slight downside, the crisp mountain air made up for it. Opening the windows brought in a wonderful breeze, and the evenings were beautifully cool and comfortable.

Velmi pohodlný hotýlek v srdci městečka v klidné ulici. Parkování přímo u hotelu na vyhrazených stáních a malém parkovišti. Vkusný interiér pokoje odkazující na horské prostředí, pohodlné postele, měkké ručníky. Velmi dobrou tradiční rakouskou snídani připravuje s úsměvem ochotný personál. Rakouská pohostinnost a vstřícnost jsou zde zjevně doma.
