Pros:

Easy check-in and let us leave bags there while we climbed MP. Room was clean and tidy with all the expected amenities. Location is good and not too loud.

DO NO STAY HERE- No rest, disrespectful administration
Cons:

Very disappointing experience at Hotel Pucara in Aguas Calientes. The room had almost no sound insulation, and there was constant music, microphone announcements, yelling, and screaming from a nearby school that made it impossible to sleep or work remotely. It was loud enough to clearly be heard in phone recordings, I would share here the recordings if Booking allowed videos.

Before realizing how bad the situation was, I had actually asked to extend my stay another night, but staff said they could not accommodate me despite availability still appearing online.

I also had two incidents where my door opened or was attempted to be opened. I honestly could not tell whether someone was actually trying to enter or whether the hotel infrastructure was so poor that other doors slamming caused mine to open/move. Either way, it made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. Staff briefly reviewed the security cameras in front of me, but they were mostly skipping through footage quickly rather than thoroughly checking what was happening outside my room.

The most disappointing part was the staff response — during checkout I was even called a liar. They refunded the unused second night, but part of the refund was given in USD bills with pink stains that I now cannot exchange. Overall, this was a very stressful and unprofessional stay.

Vorsicht. Das Hotel liegt direkt neben einer Turnhalle, in der Kinder bis spät in die Nacht Ball spielen. Es wird gejubelt, geschrien, gepfiffen und die Geräusche des Balles sind auch mehr als deutlich zu hören. Die Fenster lassen de Geräusche ungefiltert ins Zimmer.
Man könne sie genauso gut weg lassen, es würde keinen Unterschied machen.

Wenn Sie morgens früh raus müssen für Machu Picchu werden Sie nicht erholt sein.

Auf Nachfrage beim Hotelpersonal hieß es nur, das sei ganz normal, und Kinder sind halt Kinder (um 10 Uhr Nachts)

Des weiteren hat es im Zimmer unangenem gerochen.

Local ideal para um pouso em Águas Calientes
Pros:

O hotel está em ótima localização: há dois minutos da estação de trem e do ponto de ônibus para Machupicchu.
Os funcionários que nos atenderam foram muito cordiais, educadíssimos, inclusive uma nos esperou na estação de trem e nos conduziu até o hotel.
Wi-fi funcionando bem e café da manhã correto e com vista ótima de Águas Calientes.
Deixamos nossas malas enquanto fomos para Machupicchu.

Cons:

O único problema que enfrentamos foram as tomadas que não seguravam os carregadores de celular, pois estão muito folgadas. Pedimos adaptadores na recepção e nos forneceram prontamente

Excellent location right across from the train station and machu picchu shuttle buses, staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

Cons:

Door to the balcony wasn't hung properly so the street noise was a little loud, aside from this no issues.

Gostei de estar perto do trem e do ônibus depois para Machu picchu.

Cons:

Música até tarde. Eram 22h30 e cavaram um show na frente do hotel. Achei que poderia dormir em paz, mas durante sono, começou de novo e de novo. Dormi mal demais.
