Best view of the collesseum at sunset
Pros:

We had a great view of the collesseum from our bedroom window, it was beautiful at sunset!
The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. The hotel was comfortable, breakfast and dinner were good and it was nice to cool off in the pool.
The location is great, right next to the train station and a short walk from the collesseum.

In El Jem die einzige Möglichkeit
Pros:

In El Jem gibt es wenig Auswahl an Hotels, insofern bietet sich das Julius von vornherein an. Es liegt in Gehweite vom Amphitheater (und mit Blick dorthin), insofern sehr günstig. Rührend ist der Versuch, ein römisches Ambiente zu schaffen. Der Patron ist außerordentlich zuvorkommend und hilfreich.
Das Hotel hat auch ein Restaurant, was - wir waren im Ramadan - durchaus nützlich ist, wiewohl nicht Michelin-verdächtig.
Frühstück ok, landesüblich.

Cons:

Die Reservierung (obwohl wahrlich kein Mangel an Zimmern) war ein Problem. Die Lage hat die Kehrseite: Julius liegt an der Hauptstraße, ab 5 Uhr 30 massiver Verkehr. Und das Badezimmer müsste überholt werden, es rinnt irgendwo tückisch aus der Dusche.

Great location and perfect for a stopover to spend the night and see th amphitheater.
Pros:

Great location, walking distance to the Amphitheater as well as to local restaurants.

Cons:

Breakfast could’ve been a bit better. The noise from the lobby could reach our room, but we were on the first floor.

Good place to stay in El Jem, the staff is very friendly and accommodates requests. Walking distance to the Colosseum worthwhile seeing it at different times of day.

Très bonne situation pour visiter les trésors d’El’Jem
Pros:

Excellente situation à proximité de l’amphithéâtre, du musée archéologique et du centre ville. Jolie piscine au calme. Literie confortable.

Conseils : visiter l’amphithéâtre à l’ouverture (7:00 ou 7:30), avant l’arrivée des groupes (8:30) pour profiter en toute tranquillité de ce site grandiose. Et revenir prendre ensuite le petit déjeuner à l’hôtel.
Ne pas manquer, une fois le ventre plein, d’aller au musée archéologique, qui présente une incroyable collection de mosaïques.

Perfect for visiting El Jem
Pros:

Location could not have been better in the center of El Jem with a view of the colleseum from our window! Breakfast buffet was ample. A/C and WIFI worked well. Safe parking directly outside the hotel. Within walking distance of all sites and food options. Staff were friendly and welcoming with good English which was appreciated.

All was goid.

Une nuit ça suffit
Pros:

Emplacement proche de l amphithéâtre
Place de parking sécurisée devant l hôtel, un agent de sécurité assure l entrée et la sortie des véhicules.
Le chauffage dans la chambre

Cons:

Établissement fumeur, le lobby de l hôtel est souvent occupé par des hommes qui viennent boire le café et fumer toute la journée
Le lobby étant ouvert et central la fumée remonte dans les hauteurs de l hôtel et jusque dans les chambre :(
Pas de porte qui sépare l espace nuit de la chambre de son couloir,
ces messieurs font beaucoup de bruit, prévoyez des boules quies!
La chambre est petite pas très lumineuse on se sent à l étroit
La literie et sdb correctes
