Pros:

Το κατάλυμα ήταν πολύ ωραίο,η κυρία Μαρίνα ευγενέστατη και γλυκύτατη. Μας είχε αναμμένο κλιματιστικό επειδή φτάσαμε μεσημέρι και είχε ζέστη,αυτό δεν μου έχει ξανασυμβεί και μου έκανε θετική εντύπωση.

Cons:

Το κατάλυμα τα είχε όλα,δεν μας έλειψε τίποτα. Μόνο που αν δεν έχεις μεταφορικό μέσο είναι κάπως απομακρυσμένο.

My favourite place in Greece! Thanks Marina!
Pros:

Marina is a great host! I never felt more welcomed in any of my trips! This place will remain on my frequent travels list for sure!
The place is quiet, but close to the city/port, only a 5 min drive to the port area. In the city the tavernas and supermarkets are opened until late at night.
Bonus, the Fonias microbrewery is on the way :) with excellent prices. Other places we loved on the island: Gria Vadras, the vibe and the taverna located on the way, Pachia Amos and Nicolas taverna. A nice lady there taking care of the animals, visit her taverna! O Vrachos and Paradise tavernas, stunning sunset, the taverna near the curch in Kariomatissas, Chora city, the mountain villages and pretty much everything in Samotraki.

Cons:

Unfortunatelly in Samotraki there is no vet to offer assistance for cats or spat&neuter services. Many of cats in the port area are sick and locals cannot help them without a doctor. Some tavernas and remote beach bars collect the cats and take them to the villages during winter so they continue to receive some food.
A sterilization campaign is urgently needed. Marina tried to sterilize her many cats but the prices are absurd, and can reach 100 euros per cat.
I started a small donation fund at the venue, and I am looking for greek NGOs that are willing to get involved. I hope to find a solution because for animal lovers it is so frustrating and painfull to see this beautiful place full of cats suffering everywhere by disease, car accidents, little food, or starvation during winter. Many will soon avoid greek islands to stay away from this sad scenery.
I hope the island business owners and greek authorities will do more!

Aceasta locație a indsplinit toate dorințele noastre. Doamna Marina este cea mai buna gazda, face totul că oaspeții să se simtă bine. Ne a plăcut foarte mult!

Very good location. Marina is amazing. She provided us with valuable information about the island. She is friendly, energetic, and caring. The place is clean and cozy, surrounded by beautiful greenery. The swimming pool is very well maintained. At night, you can hear the soothing bells of the grazing goats, which creates a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere.
