Chambres 201 et 202 exposées au vent qui fait vibrer l’escalier de secours… et la chambre… bruit horrible permanent dès que le vent souffle… quasiment tout le temps !

Un hôtel de qualité proche des attractions du sud de l'Islande

Hôtel de grande qualité de par ses équipements
Nous avons apprécié le SPA et la qualité de la restauration (aussi bien la qualité du service que le repas du soir)
Excellent petit déjeuner

Les chambres dites "économiques" sont à demi-entérées, ce qui devrait être précisé dans le descriptif

Pros:

Was a comfortable stay with modern rooms and a lively hot tub and sauna. Good facilities.

Cons:

The staff were rude at the bistro. They charge a lot for anything here and the staff could not be bothered to clean the tables and service was very slow in the main restaurant. This was a nice stay but not worth the money

Overall all nice facilities. Very clean and comfortable rooms (although we wish there was a dresser to place our clothes in - there was just a place to hang clothes). On site restaurant was very good but a touch expensive (like all the food in Iceland). Included breakfast was very good. Hot tub was a nice treat each evening after a day of hiking

Wish there was a dresser in the room for clothes that don't hang up. Room was a bit stuffy when the window was closed all day

Die einsame Lage, die schöne Architekt, der Service und nette Personal. Wirklich super war das Frühstück und das Abendessen. Außergewöhnlich gute Küche.

Cons:

Die Betten sind viel zu weich. Man wird förmlich von der Matratze gefressen.

Bel emplacement, l'hôtel est confortable et propre, le personnel serviable et accueillant, le restaurant très bon, superbe vue prairie et mer depuis les chambres

La localisation du lieux, la propreté . La possibilité de dîner au restaurant de qualité . Petit déjeuner copieux et varié . Personnel qualifié très présent.

Sous couvert du concept de l’écologie , les chambres ne sont pas refaites chaque jour. Dommage qu il faille demander …,et que seulement les serviettes soient changées ….. vu le prix des chambres & le standing affiché des hôtels Fosshotel

Extremely comfortable, great location to springboard to the southeast of Iceland

Extremely comfortable bed, excellent heating, good block out shades, great sized rooms, beautiful amenities, wonderful restaurant. A relatively large hotel in the area about 20 mins from Diamond Beach. Wish we had stayed for two nights

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, lediglich ist das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es war dennoch sehr toll, und wir würden wiederkommen (das Essen war hervorragend)

Tolle Lage
Pros:

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet.

Cons:

Im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels auf unserer Islandreise stimmt hier das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht ganz. Zimmer und co sind recht simpel, dafür ist der hohe Preis pro Nacht nicht gerechtfertigt.
