Great stay
Pros:

We enjoyed that comfotable, sunny apartment with big window and good view. Location is good, not too crowded. Very close to any shops or restaurants that you will need.

View is nice however, u need to go to the balcony

Cons:

Location - on papers it's around 400meters from the market however, it is more than a kilometer from chowrasta. The steep walk will make u feel u r walking on an endless road. You will end up paying 100rs return bike ride just to reach the market and back.
Not recommended for elderly, people with breathlessness and those who want to enjoy hills without having to test their lungs' health.

Pros:

Our stay in Bastola was really nice thanks to the stuff that from before and even after our time in Darjeeling continue caring about us, our safety and comfort.
The shower didn't work but they offered us many ways in which the problem was solved as it was the weekend and the plumber couldn't come.
The location is hard to find in Google maps, but the owner came to pick us up in town. so we didn't have any confusion. Super close from town and super nice view of the mountain.
