Highlight of my trip. What a view and what an amazing staff!
Pros:

The view is just amazing and well worth the money. The staff is simply fantastic. So friendly and helpful. I spent the check-out morning chatting a lot with the receptionist and even got to practice my nearly non-existent Greek and a bit good ol' receptionist therapy as well.
Everything was super clear and well taken care of. The owner seemed like a genuinely good person. And yes, the view was probably the highlight of my whole trip

Cons:

The single room is kind of small, that's true, but it didn't bother me much. I had some very noisy neighbor as well, but luckily they calmed down past ten in the night. In general, the experience was just amazing. Ah, just as a reminder, there is no lift, and the good views are on the third floor, so if you have a very heavy suitcase this can be a problem.

A lovely, traditional hotel ideally located close to Chania’s harbour!
Pros:

A fantastic location for sightseeing in and around Chania. Yards from the harbour, this was an ideal, quiet place to stay. George was a fantastic host, welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough to help us. Thank you Hotel Helena!

Fantastic!
Pros:

No Breakfast included, there are a plethora of excellent nearby eateries so not important in the hotel.

Cons:

Stairs, but we accept is an historical old charming building with lots of traditional features, the staff were very helpful but perhaps it might help to highlight the vertical access challenges?

It's impossible to expect the comfort of a modern hotel from an old building in a historic area. Instead, enjoy the atmosphere. That's what I did.
