Struttura in posizione centrale di chania, dietro al porto veneziano. Camera piccola ma accogliente, con tutto il necessario. Proprietario super simpatico e gentile nel consigliare spiagge asperiennze e ristoranti.

Extremely hospitable staff made us feel welcome. They gave us all the information about Chania, so navigating the town and the best experiences it has to offer was a breeze!

The location was amazing. At the very heart of the Old Town, minutes away from the port, and many amazing local restaurants, shops and cafes. Its about 15 minutes in either direction to two beaches we visited, which were both very clean with clear, warm and calm waters.

Rooms had AC, and were cleaned daily. In addition to the cleaning, they were supplied with clean towels, tea, coffee and water.

An absolutely amazing experience! If we traveled to Chania again in the future, I would choose the same hotel a hundred times over! 😁

10/10 – Fantastisch verblijf, prachtige locatie en uitzonderlijk warme gastvrijheid

Ik heb een werkelijk fantastische ervaring gehad in Helena Hotel. Vanaf het allereerste moment waren Gracia en Georgeos ontzettend vriendelijk, gastvrij en oprecht behulpzaam. Je merkt meteen dat hier met veel zorg en aandacht wordt gewerkt, en dat persoonlijke service echt centraal staat. Dat geeft je als gast direct een heel welkom en gewaardeerd gevoel.

De locatie is bovendien echt ideaal: midden in het centrum van Chania en op loopafstand van alles wat je nodig hebt. Restaurants, bars, cafés, winkels en de haven liggen allemaal vlakbij. Vanuit mijn kamer had ik daarnaast een prachtig uitzicht over de haven en de baai. Elke ochtend wakker worden met dat uitzicht voelde echt als een cadeautje.

Wat mijn verblijf extra bijzonder maakte, was vooral de inzet van Georgeos. Hij heeft mij enorm goed geholpen en stond echt altijd klaar. Hij gaf me veel nuttige informatie en persoonlijke tips, hielp me met het plannen van mijn dagen en deed oprecht zijn best om mijn verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Het is duidelijk dat hij zijn werk met veel passie en betrokkenheid doet, en dat maakt een groot verschil. Ik waardeerde vooral dat ik hem altijd kon aanspreken met vragen; hij nam echt de tijd en dacht met me mee.

Ook bij mijn vertrek liet hij opnieuw zien hoe behulpzaam hij is. Toen ik met al mijn bagage naar het busstation moest, regelde hij nog snel een taxi voor mij zodat ik zonder stress mijn bus kon halen. Dat soort attentheid maakt echt indruk en zegt veel over de service hier.

Daarnaast verdient ook Gracia een warme vermelding. Ze was steeds vriendelijk, hartelijk en behulpzaam, en samen met Georgeos zorgt zij voor die fijne, persoonlijke sfeer die het hotel zo bijzonder maakt.

En hoewel ik haar naam helaas niet ken, wil ik ook de schoonmaakster oprecht bedanken. Mijn kamer was elke dag perfect schoon en tot in de puntjes verzorgd.

Giorgios is very friendly. He gives you good advice about restaurants and places to visit, and he even helps you print tickets. The location is in a pretty quiet area, just near the crowded port.

Totul. Gazdele: mai mult decât perfecte... m-au ajutat enorm cu bagajul, cu taxiurile, cu informațiile... PROFESIONALISM 100%. Amabilitate: 100%. Locația: cea mai bună posibilă. Curățenia: peste așteptări, perfectă... Totul: perfect.

The receptionist, Georgis, is really helpful! He allowed us to leave our luggage early and helped us book tours and taxis. The location is perfect and close to everything in Old Chania Town. Very affordable price and the hotel is really clean and well-kept. Would book again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic location, right in the heart of old town Chania, close to the bus station and lots of restaurants and shops. Room was great, big comfortable bed and good facilities. Host was incredibly helpful, gave us a detailed handwritten map of places to go and things to see which really made our trip.

This place is an absolute no-brainer. I usually stay at 5-star hotels, but the options were pretty limited for my travel dates, so I ended up booking this family-owned place instead. Honestly, I’m so glad I did.
George at the front desk is hella nice. He’s friendly, genuinely welcoming, great to chat with, and incredibly helpful. He gave us directions, helped us plan our itinerary, and even recommended a bunch of restaurants. So far we’ve tried five of them, and every single one has been fantastic (we will try two more today). The whole experience felt warm and personal. This place deserves way more love and recognition. I’d happily stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Chania. The view is amazing btw!!!

Mycket centralt, gillade dom fina gränderna. Det var väldigt varmt när vi kom. Ac:n i rummet var väldigt tacksam.

Henkilökunta on mahtava. Häneltä sai etukäteen hyvät ohjeet saapumiseen. Paikan päällä hän antoi hyviä vinkkejä Chaniaan.

Huoneesta löytyi kaikki tarvittava yöpymiseen.

One of the best parts of our stay was the location. The hotel sits right by the Old Harbor, and you can reach the waterfront in just a few steps. Waking up to the view of the lighthouse and the harbor every morning was something truly special.

The room had everything we needed. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the refrigerator was useful, the bathroom was spotless, and everything felt well maintained. Daily housekeeping kept the room fresh, and you could immediately notice the cleanliness each time you came back.

What made the biggest difference, however, was Georgios. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly and shared practical tips that helped us enjoy Chania like locals. His restaurant recommendations were excellent, his sightseeing advice saved us time, and his genuine hospitality made us feel at home from day one.

Another thoughtful touch was the free beach umbrellas and mats available for guests. Small details like these show how much the hotel cares about making every stay comfortable.

This hotel offers much more than a great room. It gives you an unforgettable harbor view, an excellent location, outstanding hospitality, and the feeling that someone truly wants you to have the best possible holiday. I would happily stay here again.
