Die Einrichung ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet, das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend, die Gastgeber geben einem das Gefühl, das jeder Gast etwas besonderes ist. Zimmer sind sehr sauber, Frühstück frisch und auf Wunsch alles was das Herz begehrt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Talgo is not just a place to stay; it is an experience so wonderful, it makes you want to rethink your priorities and move to the island. It is a true hidden piece of paradise, beautifully run by a family who treats every guest like their own.
We stayed at the Maisonette Suite, which was perfect with its two-level design, and a second level veranda as a real highlight. It offered absolutely spectacular views of Stalida Bay, as well as a peaceful place to start and end the days.
The location is simply unbeatable. We could step right onto the sand, and into the crystal clear water at the beach.
The sweet welcoming scent of frangipani greets you upon entering, and then mingles with aromas of the fresh herbs growing around the garden.
The alfresco restaurant gives feelings of relaxation, and a beachfront experience. For a more romantic, or even further personal experience, you should try to sit in the gazebo.

What truly sets Talgo Suites apart is the extraordinary level of care and hospitality. The attention to detail is remarkable, and the entire family made us feel welcome and completely at ease, especially the owners - Marianna and Peter.
The food was nothing short of a culinary journey; top-rated restaurants have nothing on Marianna' s homemade delightful dishes prepared with love. Breakfast was a particular treat of fresh breads, cheeses, juices, eggs made to order, and much more.
Everything in the menu was sumptuously made from scratch, with fresh herbs right out of the garden.

Marianna, Peter, and their entire family and staff, including Ronie, were incredibly friendly, genuine, made you feel at ease, and treated people like family. Peter was always full of helpful advice on things to do and see, while Ronie helped us with everything from orders to beach beds and everything in between.
We were truly sad to leave this serenity. As such, I highly recommend Talgo Suites to anyone seeking a genuine, authentic and unforgettable Greek getaway.

Stalida ist ein belebter Touristenort, aber davon bekommt man bei Talgo so gut wie gar nichts mit, weil es sich dort wie in einer kleinen Oase anfühlt. Dazu trägt auch die umsichtige, herzliche und überaus freundliche Betreuung durch Marianna und Peter (und auch Ronnie) sehr viel bei, die einem die Wünsche förmlich von den Augen ablesen und einem das Gefühl geben, man sei bei einer Familie zu Gast. Fürs Abendessen hat man unzählige Tavernen und Lokale in der Nähe. Zu Mittag hat man direkt bei Talgo die Möglichkeit, hervorragend zu Essen, neben den Speisen von der Karte gibt es tägliche Gerichte, die man unbedingt ausprobieren sollte. Auf Wunsch kann auch Fisch nach Wahl vom Markt besorgt werden. Das Frühstück und Mittagessen praktisch direkt am Strand zu essen, ist wunderbar. Der kleine Strandabschnitt direkt vor Talgo bietet eigene (kostenpflichtige) Liegen und hier ist besonders positiv zu erwähnen, dass man sich darauf verlassen kann, reservierte Liegen zu haben. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt und sollten wieder mal nach Kreta kommen, dann werden wir bestimmt wieder Talgo besuchen.

Our 1st time at Talgo, booked for our 30th anniversary and it was an exceptional choice. Arriving late, Peter was there to welcome us and show us to our beautiful suite. Marianna had kindly made us sandwiches which were delicious.
The photos are true, from the rooms, the outdoor dining area and gardens, it’s stunning. The attention to detail from the 1st minute is 2nd to nine, ensuring that you feel relaxed and welcome.
The rooms are beautifully decorated, light and spacious, with stunning view over the sea, you literally are ‘on the beach’
Your sunbeds are reserved for you every morning, and Ronny looks after you with drinks and snacks, and is so friendly.
The lunch menu is not to be missed, we ate there 10 out of 11 days, each dish is lovingly prepared with so many flavours and choice, fresh fish, mussels, outstanding salads, pastas, to name just a few. We enjoyed complimentary home made raki every day, it was so relaxing. Breakfast is gorgeous, with cereals, fruit, Greek yogurt and honey, as well as cooked eggs of your choice, toast, cheeses and meats.
Our beach days were so relaxing, and can honestly say Talgo is a special place, Marianna & Peter go out of their way to make your holiday perfect- and it was!
We can’t wait to return.

This small hotel is a perfect location for a family vacation, with spacious rooms, good breakfast and an amazing sand beach right in front of the hotel bar, you don't need to walk anywhere. The hotel is run by a welcoming family of Peter and Marianna, who care about their guests and helped us a number of times with our requests. This kind of hospitality and attention you will never get in the hotel chains. We also enjoyed the terrace with the sea view, on which we had a takeaway dinner couple times thanks to kitchen amenities available in the room. To everyone staying in this hotel I also recommend to have a lunch there: the food is cooked with love and craftsmanship of a great restaurant and is not expensive.

Talgo suites proves that it is really possible to build a fully functional lovely beautiful seaside boutique hotel, which has (almost) everything a large seaside resort has, but without the hassle of the latter. This place has rooms with terraces, a private-access beach, dining options, and a beautiful garden - just all this is on a small scale, which allows for an incredible feeling of tranquility, not possible in large establishments.

It is a family-run property, where owners stay on site and care about their guests 24/7. Their love and attention to details are evident in so many ways: from the tastefully decorated common spaces and flowers in the carefully groomed garden to the selection of products for the (very tasty) breakfast.

NB. There are mosquito screens available on all doors (which is hugely appreciated!), so take the hosts‘ advice to keep them closed from dusk till dawn, as the mosquito are numerous in that area.

Wifi on the beach and in common rooms.was great. Not too good in our own room. Everything else was outstanding. Loved the people, the food and the location.
