Pretty good, springfontein has a really unpretentious genuine atmosphere
Pros:

Wonderful location on river. So peaceful.

Cons:

Our room was quite dark, not enough lights, could do with bedside lamp on both sides of the bed.

Only other thing could be better is loos and changing near the pool…

Fabulous!
Pros:

Fabulous getaway on a lovely wine estate. Rooms are very comfortable - we got an upgrade with a super river view. On site restaurants and wine bars - we did the tasting menu at Wortelgat which is not to be missed if you like food and wine!

We enjoyed our stay. We do however feel that room rate was quite expensive.
Pros:

The views are spectacular. The room was spacious.

Cons:

The rate for accommodation is quite steep for the area and what is offered in terms of the room and breakfast doesn't support the rate.

Underbart läge i naturen
Pros:

Trevligt ställe med eleganta rum nära naturen. Väldigt fina rum, uteplats, bra pressa sitt egna kaffe på morgonen och bara sitta njuta av naturen. Fint poolområde- härligt kunna simma ordentligt. Tyvärr var flodturen fullbokad så vi kom aldrig ut på det. God mat och trevlig vinprovning. Trevligt kunna åka in till Stanford och äta också.

Cons:

Vi hade verkligen uppskattat AC- det var väldigt varmt och för det pris man betalar så räknar man med att även AC finns.

Traumhafte Lage in einer wunderschönen Gegend. Herrliches Essen und köstliche Weine. Personal äußerst nett und zuvorkommend. Alles perfekt.

Excellent stay and we are definitely coming back!
Pros:

Absolutely great lodge! The rooms are amazing, and so are the restaurants, staff, and the wine. We stayed over Christmas and enjoyed absolutely everything!

Cons:

The pool could have been cleaner but that was the only thing to "complain"

Pros:

Nous avons passé un moment inoubliable dans ce logement exceptionnel, installé dans un cadre unique, directement au bord de la rivière et offrant des vues improbables ainsi qu’une atmosphère vraiment apaisante. L’accueil était chaleureux et attentionné, et les chambres, décorées avec beaucoup de goût et de soin, étaient parfaites. Mention spéciale également pour le restaurant du domaine, qui était excellent.
Un vrai coup de cœur — je recommande à 100 % !

Suprising estate with great staff and great wines

Beautiful location with very warm and professional staff. We tasted their wines and rediscovered pinotage! What a great suprise! Thank you again for this pleasant stay!

Such a serene and inspiring place. I wish I could have stayed longer!
Pros:

What a hidden gem, absolutely stunning! Had such a great time, too bad it was a short stay. I received a very warm welcome.The lodge is quiet, peaceful and surrounded by nature. My room was beautiful, clean and comfy. I also had a great dinner at Ulumbaza Barn: cosy place, delicious food, and the wines were a real joy. Breakfast was such a treat! Shout out to the team, they were amazing: warm, professional and very attentive.

Great place, great stay. Absolutely fell in love with the Klein River.
Pros:

The location is absolutely stunning! The rooms are beautiful, the estate is breathtaking, and the overall warmth of the place is overwhelming. We’ll definitely be back next year!

Cons:

The lodge is a little far from the restaurant and the main swimming pool, so I rather took the car - especially at night.
