Hotel was close to a metro station but the traffic made roads difficult to cross. Hotel was secure with mainly friendly staff. Breakfast was good.
Eating places were about 10 minutes walk away or across a very busy road. Nearby metro station had lifts but they didn't work. Not all banks took foreign cards so we had to look for specific banks. Restaurant was expensive. Not all rooms had hot water all the time.
It was in the middle of Pindi, just behind Sardar but not within walking distance. The staff were very humble and friendly, catered for our needs includinv my wife who can be pretty demanding. The rooms were very spacious and fairly clean and up to a decent standard but the biggest feature was that it was very much in central Pindi and close to the main roads. The complementary breakfast was pretty good and filling.
It was rather dated and the my shower was not working but it was fixed immediatly, however hot water still took a while but it was warm enough for a shower with luke warm water. Since the location is near to Pindi centre there was a bit of noisy which can affect any light sleepers. The entrance is on the main road and again it can be noisy.
Not good
Bad
Location.
I arrived at 10am. The there was a security gaurd and a reluctant uniformed hotel bellboy seeing me and wife in disbelief. The taxi driver has to call them to help me take out our luggage. A dark creepy reception awaited us. There was insufficient light in the reception area. Receptionist also appeared to be non professional. He also looked creepy when he wanted see the identification of my wife. He made copies of it which I did not like. I travelled from UK to Saudi Arabia to Dubai in this trip all stayed in hotels and no one asked for my wife id as I was doing it on my account. The hotel lift was very small and could hardly carry four people. Was not a good experience in such a tight place. The light in lift was insufficient, The room was on second floor and was smelling full of damp. Though it was described as deluxe room but was not comfortable and beneath the bedsheet was not looking hygienic too. All the corridors has insufficient lighting and full of cigarette smoke smell. Though me and my wife are both Pakistani origins but we felt very unsafe as the whole hotel looked creepy. Within half an hour we decided to leave the hotel. The bellboy told us there is a taxi service available and they charged us four times the fare that is a fare of 400 we were charged Rs 2000 and was expecting a tip. We took sigh of relief as soon as we were out to that place. We paid PKR13000 and left hotel within one hour of arrival. For anyone intending to stay there I would not recommend it.
Easy approach
The main reception and lounge was very dark and were not welcoming at all.
Easy access to shops
Overall a comfortable stay at the hotel. Close to Liaqat Bagh Metro Station, and many other popular shopping areas.
Being listed as a 4 star hotel the least they could offer is complimentary water, which they don't.
The hotel is centrally located close to metro station. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Overall a great stay and value for money.
