We specifically booked a room with a fireplace and the advert and photos showed the room with the fire working, but upon arrival we found the fireplace was not available due to restrictions and were very disappointed that this was not updated on the advert or hotel had not advised us before/ changed the photos of the fireplace either fireplace in it.
We paid extra for this room that starts with the advert saying- the standout feature of this room is the fireplace- which is incorrect. We would have booked a different lower price room if we had known.
De kamer was ruim en licht. Het ontbijt , vers fruit, fruitsap, scrambled eggs en toast, uitgeserveerd aan een perfect gedekte tafel was heerlijk. De gastheer was erg aardig en behulpzaam. Al met al een zeer fijn verblijf van 4 nachten.

A really warm place , exactly like the pictures . An old colonial building with a very good design .
Mattress was quite uncomfortable. I booked to stay 2 nights , but unfortunately I could not sleep the first night , because of the hard mattress so I left from the hotel and I booked an other place .
Communication was difficult since they don’t speak English .

Nous avons été très agréablement surpris par la qualité de cet hôtel, établi dans une maison coloniale entièrement restaurée avec un goût exquis et à quelques centaines de mètres du centre historique de Bogotá. Accueillis par don Jairo, très aimable et très disponible, nous avons également pu savourer un excellent petit-déjeuner servi dans une salle à manger décorée avec goût. Avant notre départ, nous avons pu laisser nos bagages pendant plusieurs heures. Assurément une excellente adresse où l'on peut se rendre en toute confiance. Nous y retournerons si un voyage nous fait repasser par Bogotá.

I really liked the style and decoration of the hotel, it has a very cozy and charming atmosphere. The bed was also quite comfortable, and I appreciated the heating system, otherwise it would have been too cold. The staff was very kind and welcoming, which made the stay more pleasant.
The breakfast was quite disappointing. It was very basic and limited — just a bit of bread with jam, an omelette, and a coffee. For the price, I expected something more complete.

This is a charming little hotel with a perfect balance between history and renovation. The bathroom is fully modern and functions perfectly, while both the room and the hotel preserve many historical details that add a special atmosphere.

We had a bed with an electric heater, which is a wonderful feature in Bogotá’s climate — we slept incredibly well!

Me encantó! Fui a estudiar y estuve en la habitación del balcón. Muy tranquilo, cómodo, de verdad se siente una vibra especial porque es una casa antigua, muy bien decorada, idéntica a las fotos! Pero lo mejor el personal, muy amables, el desayuno delicioso y me sentí muy segura!
