Very relaxing in a lovely setting.
Pros:

It’s very tranquil and quiet. The garden is pretty and well kept. The staff are lovely, engaging and take an interest in you. The food is great. It’s a peaceful place to stay away from the bustle of Hermanus. It’s not a five star property but it has great charm.

Cons:

From the website I thought I was going to get a seaview room which is what I wanted since I’ve travelled all the way from the U.K. but I was given a garden room, which was disappointing. I didnt see any garden rooms advertised on booking.com, only seaview ones. I asked several times for a late check out but never received a response, only “we will see on the day” which is hopeless as I need to make plans. They are probably understaffed as I noticed the staff covering various roles.

My room didn’t face towels upon checking in but they were swift to bring them . Bathroom a bit clogged and outdated but it was smart
