Grundsätzlich nettes Hotel, aber kein 5 Sterne Niveau
Pros:

Vom Restaurant hat man einen tollen Blick aufs Meer. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und ein riesengroßes Badezimmer. Das Hotel bietet Nachmittags/Abends einen super Fahrservice nach Hermanus Downtown bzw. zu umliegenden Restaurants.

Cons:

Wir haben am ersten Abend im Hotelrestaurant gegessen. Leider sagte man uns bei der Reservierung nicht, dass ca. die Hälfte der Karte nicht verfügbar ist (kein Seafood, bestimmte Fleischsorten nicht), dies war sehr ärgerlich, da wir uns sonst sicher anders entschieden hätten.
Die Zimmer und insbesondere die Bäder sind deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und entsprechen keinesfalls einem 5 Sterne Standard.
Der Pool wirkte ungepflegt, voller Blätter, Stöcke etc. und trüb (was am Salzwassser liegen soll).
Zwischen dem Hotel und Hermanus liegt ein großer Township, es empfiehlt sich daher abends den (sehr netten) Fahrservice in Anspruch zu nehmen.

We loved it here
Pros:

This was the perfect place for us to stay in Hermanus. The views from the restaurant and our room were absolutely breath taking. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and we generally couldn't have had a better stay. If we're ever in Hermanus again, we'll absolutely be stay here. Huge thanks!

Wunderschönes kleines Hotel mit fantastichem Blick auf das Meer
Pros:

Es war absolut der HAMMER. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick - meine absolute Empfehlung. Wir hatten das Gefühl die Wellen spritzen fast auf die Terasse. Das Zimmer war sehr großzügig, die Bodentiefen riesigen Scheiben haben die Natur ins Zimmer geholt. Die Einrichtung war puristisch-gemütlich, uns hat es sehr gefallen denn wir mögen nicht so gern viel Schnickschnack.
Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und sowohl das Abendessen als auch das Frühstück waren von herausragend guter Qualität. Wenn es uns noch einmal nach Südafrika verschlägt werden wir ganz sicher wiederkommen.

Pros:

Toller Ausblick aus den Zimmern mit Meerblick

Cons:

Alte Möbel, unsaubere Teppiche, Frühstück a la carte bringt enttäuschende Speisen (Käseplatte besteht beispielsweise aus mehr Tomaten als Käse und auch nur aus zwei Käsesorten). Zimmer sind groß aber wir empfanden sie lieblos eingerichtet, wie auch das Bad.

A room with an unforgettable view.
Pros:

Unparalleled and unforgettable ocean views through the impressive large window panes! The accommodation was fabulous, with its large dimensions and luxurious finishes.

Cons:

There was nothing, not to like! Everything was perfect. Perhaps some small touches to add to the great experience, such as: a delicious biscuit at the coffee station, a small decadent chocolate with the bed 'turn down' and a large hard covered coffee-table-book about the whales in Hermanus!

I would certainly recommend this hotel.
Pros:

The choice for breakfast was very good. Room was excellent and staff very helpful.

Cons:

There was only two choices for a non meat eater for the evening meal and for the four days we were there is was the same menu. However the food was very good.

Pros:

Bellissimo soggiorno in questo boutique hotel curato nei minimi dettagli. Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte, ma abbiamo comunque potuto riscontrare la gentilezza e la disponibilità del personale. Vista dalla camera semplicemente mozzafiato.
A 10 minuti in macchina dal porto e dal centro di Hermanus. Possibilità anche di cenare in struttura, consigliamo!
