Picture perfect location
Pros:

Picture perfect setting with outstanding and friendly customer service. Room was spacious, tidy and serviced twice a day. The location was perfect and while sitting on the patio one could enjoy the waves rolling in over the sea.

Cons:

The dinner service was disappointing.

View is lovely

Cons:

The mini bar in the room was lacking - not one snack or biscuit available.
Minimal towels in the bathroom - no hand towels - only black face cloths which is unacceptable in a so called five star establishment. The telephone in the room was not working, not plugged in therefore not charged.
The toilet smelt badly of old urine - clearly not being cleaned properly!

Pros:

Der Blick aus dem Fenster ist atemberaubend schön und das Personal hat jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Perfekt war auch der Shuttle Service. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht.

Cons:

In der Suite konnte eine von zwei Toilette nicht benutzt werden, da die Halterung defekt war. Allerdings war sonst alles bestens in Ordnung.

The car service into town was great they dropped you off and collected you

The location is a bit far from the center of Hermanus and beaches, so you need to have a car

The team at Schulphoek was professional and ensured a smooth and pleasant stay. The room and the view from the room was just simply beautiful.

Had a pleasant stay. Staff were attentive and cheerful. Would return.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good, there was a great variety and a stunning view of the ocean. Location was okay.

Cons:

The bed was very uncomfortable and linen was inadequate ( no blanket/quilt )

Die Zimmer haben eine fantastische Aussicht auf das Meer, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und das Frühstück sehr gut. Wir sind leider nur eine Nacht geblieben, würden es aber weiterempfehlen.

Pros:

Es war alles sehr schön. Wir haben nur eine Nacht da geschlafen. Wir waren um 10 Uhr erst beim Frühstück (wir haben es leider verwechselt) und eigentlich war schon zu und das Personal war sehr bemüht uns trotzdem noch was zu zubereiten.

Cons:

Es war insgesamt alles gut auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten.

Enjoyable and peaceful but I won't book again
Pros:

The 1st day the breakfast was enjoyable but the granola was extremely overcooked with very hard pieces in the mix. 2nd morning breakfast was a disaster. We waited over an hour to get our breakfast and the trout was still frozen. I believe it would be less wasteful if the guests could dish up for themselves

Cons:

The staff are very helpful and very friendly. Rooms are large and spacious but the air conditioner in our room on the 2nd night was very noisy, as we had to move because there was a glitch in our booking. The dispensers for the soap in the bathroom are awkward to use, being stuck on the wall. Towels were rather hard for a 5 star hotel
